No thanks we'll just stay where we're at or move down for Penix. If Harbaugh comes he'll probably want McCarthy. No need to move up.

You've given up on O'Connell already?

Fields isn't very good. It's time to move on.

Just wait until his upcoming slightly above average performance against what’s supposed to be a
good defense that is injured af . The cult will start thinking you can get three first rounders for him because he played OK against a “great“ defense.

Was there something wrong with the Vikings, and Lions defense the last three weeks? I didn't think so. No interceptions in more than three weeks and a good qb rating for a nice series of games. He's doing just peachy. Do you watch any of the games or just mail it in with negativity?

He fumbles every game. I'm not exaggerating.

So does Trevor Lawrence. He does need to clean that up. Its a process.

29 in 47 games. Fields has 36 in 36 games. Lawrence needs to clean that up. Fields needs to get off my TV.

He might be ok but more likely his future is as a back up. He got a bad deal...worst offensive line in the league and a McDaniels hire trying to run the offense. The plan should be to get a qb and then a tackle in the 2nd round. The offensive line needs attention badly...Brandon Parker is still hanging around ffs.

Think the Bears could pull off another trade similar to the Panthers one in 2023? If Fields is still the problem next year, you have the Raiders picks to draft a QB into an organization that should be on an upwards trend. Use the additional draft capital from the Raiders on picks to continue bolstering OL and DL.

Others on here obviously disagree but I don't know why the above isn't the default answer. This team still has (a) inadequate NFL starters all over the place and (b) a lack of impact players. If the Raiders want to give the Bears the same deal as the Panthers just do it. Yeah, Fields probably sucks, but there are QBs to draft every year. So if the Bears are drafting a QB in 2025, presumably he's walking into a situation with a stacked roster.

That's setting that guy up for success from day one. For all of Fields shortcomings, he wasn't helped in any way by the shit roster that he walked into on day one with the Bears.

You're making the deal for Crosby. How many more good to great seasons does he have left? Let's say 4. Are those 4 great years more significant than the production you project from Maye/Harrison/Williams for the next 10+ years? What quarterback are the going to draft in 2025? What are the odds that you would have multiple top 5 picks in 2025? IMO, it would be criminal to walk away and this draft without Maye, Harrison, or Williams. Crosby isn't worth that.

The Raiders and Bears have been two of the worst NFL franchises in the past 20+ years. I'm assuming at least one of them is going to be a top 5 pick team in 2025.

He could have helped himself by, you know, throwing to receivers when they're open. Stroud walked into a bad roster situation and has no problem throwing to receivers when they're open. That's because he meets basic job requirements like, you know, throwing quickly and with anticipation. He understands he cannot wait for 45 minutes until his receivers are backyard ball wide open. That's what you do in college. This isn't college. Stroud is aware of that. Fields isnt. Then again maybe Fields knows what he's doing because even if he spends 45 mins in the pocket then gets sacked, he knows fans like yourself are gonna blame the line instead of his slow ass processing speed.

I tried to help you out a bit on the above. Would love for you to quote where I said that Fields is getting sacked because of the line. Just use the quote function please.

Where do you get your information from? Stroud inherited a much better offense around him than Fields did, particularly the offensive line and receivers. Your "takes" are just not factual.

You're misstating what he said. He said the deal would be the Raiders Number Onepicks in 24 and 25 PLUS CROSBY. That is a good deal for the Bears.Period. This would result in the Bears getting Alt, Crosby, and a high 2025 Number one draft pick for a over-rated college quarterback.

No deal. Raiders are too far back atm in the draft, and the Bears don’t need a veteran WR like Adams who may be getting past his prime by time the team is ready to win. The better route is to trade the 1st overall to a team just a couple slots back, get an absolute hall, then draft a player like MHJ who is young and can grow with the team across from an already legit veteran #1 like Moore.

OP’s proposal would make little sense imo.

I can't see trading the Carolina 1 any further down than #3 because I want Marvin Harrison Jr. I don't see Harrison dropping past #3 because I don't see three QBs going in a row.

If the Bears' own pick is 10 or less, Eberflus will not be there. Then the question is does the new coach prefer Fields or one of Daniels or Penix.

I think Poles should collaborate with the new coach, but ultimately, it has to be his call.

After two games would love to walk away from Williams. He has a better team around him and is a Justin Fields without the running ability. Lighting up Stanford is way fucking different that playing in the NFL.
