But you're the guy who finds relevance in Prognosticating about stats in January. Ok prognosticate then

Well, April.

But, you've also played the "Why didn't you say this before the season?" card a few times.

So, you'll get your chance to not say things before the season too.

Hey Golf Shoes. Only an ignorant buffoon would ever be impressed by the fact that a guy who was 7th in pass attempts per game would be 23rd in Avg yardage per game. And in you Effingham War Hawks Team.Mascot, "WE" have found just that guy!

Doc, you might as well give up on this. A guy who is thrown into a tizzy by a simple change to a weather app will never fully comprehend advanced stats.

Do you stat geeks factor in the stupid -5 yard screen passes that were overwhelming part of the bears "gameplan" into your metrics?

Anyone can manipulate the stats to make it fit their narrative. Cherry picking stats does not prove your point when we all watched the Bears this year and know for a fact that A) line sucks B) Caleb as a rookie was not ready to overcome the lack of protection and his coaches did a piss poor job of helping him manage the game. Their solution was to pass sideways and hand it off to Swift who was not meant to be used as a bruiser.

Yeah and only an idiot OC would ever design a game plan which included downfield throws for one of the worst downfield passers of the last 25 years. No OC would ever shoot themselves in the foot like that.

Which is what all you dudes ever try to do i.e. Total Yardage, constant focus on the fact that he is just a "Rookie" and TDs/Ints until you got called on it.

"We" also know that he posted some of the absolute worst offensive numbers of any QB in the league. Regardless of how those numbers were dissected.

Russell Wilson once again displaying his best Caleb Williams impression.

Quite possibly true. But what I won't be able to take is two more years of you arguing for Justin Fields, even as he stands on the sideline holding a clipboard for another team TBD.

In 3 months you'll be (and so will MANY others here) whining about him being garbage even as he signs with someone to be their starting QB. Book it!

No way will he be handed a starting job outright. Brought in either as a backup, to compete for #1 or serve as a placeholder while a team readies their own high draft pick.

Receipts!
Another guy who happens to be doing the Ali Shuffle currently

I also believe he's a placeholder. It's still an opportunity for him to NOT be a placeholder.

I still "believe" that the Paw will be a better pro than Kawhi. It still would be incorrect for this particular "belief" to be true.

That's fair. Fields is the starter for the NY Jets. I defied reality there for a second.

My calendar says we are in March. The season starts in September. Happy to shuffle along until then.

He's already disproven your claim

Splitting the 2-3 month self-imposed deadline to March 31, Justin's best case scenario is that by then he is signed to "compete" for a starting gig. But no way is he anointed a starter by then.
