They give up way too many yards to be an opportunistic defense. You keep giving up 300+ per game, the opponents will score.

I think the Bears forced 32 turnovers this year, but it seems that in previous years ('05 and '06) the Bears would force over 40, so even though they led the league, it still is down from previous years.
