Nas, they werent like 2-14 terrible. They were a very medicore 7-9. I dont really watch, but you cant bash for the record. They set up the playoffs and their record was good enough to get in. It's not a fluke to win 3 games to get to the final game, so they must be reasonable.

Using your thought process the Sox should apologize for playing the Royals 19 times each year. You play with the hand your dealt, and if you have an advantage because your conference or division is weak, well then more power to you. If you want to use the baseball analogy, the Padres got in last year with a very medicore record.

I'm not even going to give your projections any credibility to be honest. I don't think you really can project a 7-9 record like that. This is the closest losing record you can have to .500 so to project it to being 12 games under or whatever you said, Ij ust don't that's really fair to do. Either way, I do agree with you Nas that 7-9 is not good. I can't stand any team at .500 or worse making the playoffs. I just got a kick out of a known die-hard NBA fan ripping on it.
