That's the key to him on a lot of plays. It's awesome. A lot of people this that Knox TD was a simple/easy play. It wasn't. Cutler made it look easy. Steelers had a blitz on. Cutler read it. He backpedaled quickly to buy a second for the route to be run and he released quickly. He gave himself a lane to make the pass. His height helped too. That play was great. Few could make that play. He bought time and had a lighting quick release. The Davis TD was just gunning it between to defenders in the perfect spot. That was impressive but I knew he could do that.

I knew Cutler was good but I think he's better than what I thought cuz I study him more as a Bears QB. His foot work and release time are 2nd to none. There are some as good but none better. Some QBs are faster but I'm just talking about foot work in the pocket to avoid a rush. He's got good instincts too. He feels when and where the pressure is coming. We don't have great talent on offense. It's decent but we have him for 10 years. Scary to think what will happen once we get a "great WR".

the guy's name should be ICE. i liked after the first TD he walked off the field with posture as if to say "about fuckin time, give us the ball back so we can do it at least a couple more times".

Pretty good analysis Bearstein.

I looked at the play. Just like you said. I also passed it off as my own analysis to my co workers.
