NFL: Patriots shopping Thomas?

My T&R The mystery behind Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas and his being on the inactive list for Sunday's game didn't get any clearer yesterday. Thomas was a healthy scratch for the first time since his rookie season with the Ravens in 2000, missing the 59-0 beating of the Titans at Gillette Stadium. He wasn't on the injury report all week leading to the game and was not at the stadium Sunday, according to a league source. Putting Thomas on the inactive list generated some talk that he may be on the trading block.

I would never deal with the Patriots, they always seem to get the better of the deal...

So is Derrick Johnson of the Chiefs.

Any of those teams who converted from 4-3 to 3-4 are going to have a lot of extra 4-3 parts left over.

That being said, the Bears don't have a lot of bullets left to offer.

I think they would have to offer a younger player currently on the roster.

Juaqin Iglesias makes sense for a team that is thin at WR. I'm sure they'll ask for Knox, but c'mon.

no bullets in the first 2 rounds in which many qoute experts are calling the deepest draft in a decade or so....not that we make good draft choices anyway....

Knox won't be going anywhere, but, with few draft picks to offer, they would have to start offering young players like Iglesias (who I'm sure has a limited market).
