It's just time to sell this team for this family.

As the league continues to "Evolve" and spend money this team is concerned about watching pennies in a billion dollar industry.

The new trend of Team Presidents who know something about football and being the supreme voice in all moves has caught on. Miami, GB did it well and now Seattle and Cleveland.

Of course, this does not mean it is a must and teams do well without it, but when teams are in trouble, like the Bears, severe measures must be taken.

Ted can remain as the accountant but the clean sweep that was necessary for this team was not done for one reason and that was money. Thus this McFamily can't compete in todays climate. Even though that was the reason they needed a new stadium?

OK, I will back off on my sale request and shoot small, how about some better turf? Yes, I know who owns the facility but you have a team of Lawyers review a lease and the best language they could come up with was "if another event was 7 days before new sod will be laid down"...I know an attorney that has never laid sod before!

If I was a great grandson of Papa Bear I would be pissed sitting there and working a 9-5 job while sitting on a billion dollar asset.

I have laid a full backyard of sod twice. I did a great job both times. The first time I lived next to an 8 unit building and all the apartment dwellers were out on their decks laughing as I tilled the crap grass that existed and laid down the new sod while swearing on a hot summer day. By the end they were praising me for how good it looked. I GOT SKILLZ!

I agree with Spaulding - I don't Michael is terribly interested in this so called "foot-ball" venture. He's like to take his 1/12th share and invest it in nice bonds with high yields.

I'm not sure how they're not going to get killed by the taxes .... that's what typically does these type of family ventures in, unless they are willing to agree to a Family Trust.
