He's really put together a nice little run with the Jets. And we didn't want to pay him. How the hell does Jerry Angelo still have a job?

I was a huge TJ fan when I first joined this board. Alot of people laughed at me when I defended him. He's a good RB though, and has been since he's left the Bears.

Caveat = He has the best Center in the NFL and one of the top 3 OL's overall blocking for him.

I'm a fan of TJ as well ... but he may be having "deja vu all over again" with the Jets.

Shonn Greene looks like the real deal there and TJ doesn't like to share.

That's true, but he also played well with the Bears line...

What is it about Jones that makes every team that has him, looking to get better at the position?

That Bears line was pretty good. TJ is good when the line is good. See his time in AZ and first year for the Jets

He isn't special. He is effective. Most teams want a guy that appears to have "it". That's hard to find.

Jones was good with the Bears and is still pretty good. I'm happy for him and he always seemed to be a stand up guy.

Well Angelo made a dumb draft pick in Benson. I guess they kinda forced their hand on that one. TJ's like three years older now with the Jets. Cant blame them for the Greene pick. Tannenbaum has done well with this team the last couple years.

That's what happens when you invest heavily in the lines. Then you take your shot at the skills positions when you get a chance.
