YES!!!!!

The only other good teams in the NFC are maybe Atlanta and NO.

The AFC North is freaky deeky good. Indy is good but will crap down their leg at the end of their season again and NE is not as good as their record.

Are the Bears the best team in the NFL?

Based on what we've seen? Yes. But, damn, it is tough to say in this NFL; my roomate is in a confidence pool, and I try and keep track of who I would have picked and where I would have placed confidence. Suffice it to say, I might have lost my ass this weekend; I would have picked the Bears, but with very low confidence, whereas I would have picked several losers at mid-range confidence levels. It's tough to say, to be honest. But, to be perfectly honest? Da Bearsss!!

I'll stay conservative and just go with NFC for now.

Agreed Dolphin. Indy and New England still scare me.

Several teams in the AFC scare me. The Ravens would be an incredibly tough matchup. The Bengals have a lot of weapons on offense and are incredibly opportunistic on D.

As a disinterested observer from the outside looking in, I would have to say the answer is a resounding YES.

I hate to be a realist here, but I'm feeling compelled after hearing numerous national hosts and local ones call them the best team in the NFL today. They were the best team in the NFL yesterday. That is all you can say at this point. They almost lost to the Vikings . . . one week ago. It is 80 degrees out today, that should say something about the season. It's so early. They have some pretty easy games coming up, but who would have thought Washington would pull it out yesterday? Everyone wants to talk about the "tough" games, but don't overlook some of the "should win" games either. Other teams are going to start heating up.

That said, the win does feel REAL good. :D
