K Dodd, Clemson

Its a bit of reach, as other mocks have interior DL rated higher, but I think Foxxy wants the guy getting to the QB right away.

Brad Biggs has them taking him in his mock in the Sunday paper. I guess that's who I want based on what I've heard people say of him. As I don't know college players. Just be good, please. And don't be injured. I'm sick of Bears top picks always being injured.

Fontleroy Bernstein commented favorably about his skills back during bowl season.

He is a guy who couldn't break the starting lineup until a fifth year senior season. He was aided by playing opposite Shaq Lawson. Why would I want Dodd when I could have Lawson?

Bosa will fall to #11, and the Bears, of course, will take him because they're brain dead.

Wait. Brad Biggs picked Lawson. That's the guy from Clemson that I want based on what people say. Like I said, I don't know anything about college players.

I think the Bears will take Leonard Floyd.

The word is he now will not even make it to 11. That seems crazy to me...like something the Browns would do.

If he's not there, I'd bet they'd take Lawson.

They'll take Elliott over either of them but I don't think Elliott will be there either.

Sounds like Lynch is long gone before the Bears get a chance for him.

Thanks for those few meaningless wins this year Bears!

The guy I want is Buckner but wants got nothin to do with it. I think the Bears have expressed too much public love for Elliott (maybe intentionally) and that he will either be taken or someone will trade up for him.

I think there are many great picks.

Gun to my head, Myles Jack falls and he is a Bear.

EDIT: forget Jack. He said yesterday he thinks he will need microfracture surgery down the road. I think he drops precipitously now.

Laquon Treadwell. Ok probably not, but that's who I want them to take.

No I wasn't. Not at all. I've been complaining for years that the Bears have never attempted a true rebuilding year.

You have me confused with someone else.

That is literally impossible.

You were claiming that because the Seahawks did it, anyone could.

I don't know what you are talking about.

I've been on record for years saying that we need to move on from Cutler and take a massive cap hit for a year, suck, and then start building towards the future.

What exactly did I say about the Seahawks? Is this just a bit?

I am looking at first edge rusher. Lawson projected as a tackle.

Look at the pressure the Denver D got on Brady, that's all Foxxy. Not sold on Dodd, but thinks thats who or what they want

Basically my feelings as well ... effective 3-4 DE against both the run and the pass, and his being around is more likely what with 1 & 2 being used on QBs.

Really hoping the Cowboys take Elliott.

I would be happy with Floyd, Buckner, Rankins, Jack, Hargreaves or Conklin.

If Jack falls b/c of this knee thing, i'd run to the podium to draft him.
