No. I still plan on waiting until the end of the season before I decide. I saw enough good last year to wait.

I enjoyed watching him carve up the Packers to end their season.

It took Kyle Fuller four years and Leonard Floyd three and a half. And those positions aren't half as difficult as QB. I'm down on Mitch but this is not a make or break game.

My guess is the defense plays below it's standards and offense plays above it's standards. Bears win narrowly but it never feel particularly in doubt.

Isn't that the past as well? :D

Bears - 10 Washington football team - 3

Which great QBs emerged after 3 years as a starter?

This is a MUST GAME for the Bears. And I have no idea where this team is offensively. The defense of the Bears, though, is the best in football and will dominate the game. Hopefully Nagy gets his head out of his ass and puts an offense together. I believe in (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and the good news out of last week is that they have a good kicker which is a great thing to me.

So, it is very early in the football season and no one really knows what this team is going to be. It'll be interesting. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Lot of high point totals for the beloved. You guys must be counting on multiple pick-6's.

Coming off playing against a really good defense last week I’m hoping Mitch starts getting into a bit of rhythm and starts to carry the offense more. Nagy needs to be better as a play caller as well.. offensive line needs to put together a complete game too. On paper the Redskins are a good team to get healthy against, hopefully this is like the Tampa game last year.

Bears weren't expected to win the Tampa game last year. I was about the only guy who picked them to win. This is an important game and a must win.

Leonard Floyd is JAG. Without Mack drawing all the attention Floyd would be out of the league

Brees, Elway, Young, Gannon..

I think with Elway you could argue he was already really good before his 3rd year but after his 3rd year his numbers really started to improve.

Matt Hasselbeck took a few years to develop before becoming a multiple time pro-Bowl QB.. 5 or 6 years if I’m not mistaken. Wouldn’t call him great but he was really good for a decent amount of time

You gonna wait 5 or 6 years for Mitch?

Me pointing out some QB’s that have developed later in their career is not the same as me saying Mitch will be one of those guys. I’m just answering that specific question.

And on that note.. Alex Smith (while not great imo) became very good after a few years..

Point being, it can happen, and has happened. I think Brees is the gold standard of this type of trend (rare) while guys like Smith, Gannon, and Hasselbeck would be more the norm of the trend if it were to happen for Mitch.
