Do you get a chance to switch football teams? Do you have to be a kid or teenager to do so?

It's seriously getting harder and harder to stick with this team. What benefit do I have in continuing my allegiance to this organization?

Nah man. You’re free of your obligation.

I know you can’t pick the Packers. I’d suggest Baltimore. AFC team who is competent and not good enough right now where you would be accused of bandwagoning.

I'm a Brady fan in the playoffs but I'll die a Bears fan. Maybe earlier than I should.

If the D sticks together and they make a switch at QB then maybe there's hope. In terms of scoring the Bears outscored the chargers 4-3 - it's that miss at the one yard line that really did them in, in addition to the missed kicks. They were right there and should have won. Bottom line is the loss really highlighted problems on the offense - make a few switches and you're right back in the mix. At least we're not the Falcons or something - their ineptitude is a bigger problem to fix.

Cowboys. Amari has really transformed that team.

They're better than the Raiders as a team and as an offense.

They've scored more points (5th overall) than the Raiders = better offense than the Raiders.

Same thing with the Brady/Bears approach.

I've been a 49er and Ravens fan for years. Never liked how the 49ers treated Kap and Harbaugh.

This is a team that has won three playoff games since Lovie Smith was named coach in 2004.

How long do I have to wait for these good times?

I can’t root for another team. I’ll just Chuse to not watch and wait until the Bear are good again.

I hope I’m still alive to see it.

I suppose the transition that makes the most sense would be to become a Cardinals fan. At least they got their start here in Chicago

FF, please explain your skepticism of statistical evidence, specifically evidence which demonstrates the Cowboys have the 5th best offense while the Raiders are somewhere in the 20s.

Don't be one of those fans Frank. Stick with your team. It is ok to pull for other teams...but don't abandon your team. My 2nd favorite team is the Chiefs. Hoping to see them get a Superbowl in the next couple years. But I will forever remain a Bears fan first and foremost.

I don't really have a second NFL team. Back in my youth, the pre-LA Raiders. That's about it.

I'm just not watching. I watched a bit of one of the September games, can't even remember which one. And I watched the Raiders game as I was visiting my dad. But that's pretty much it.

This isn't new, I stopped watching during the Fox era, although I'd listen in the car. Today, I didn't even put the radio stream on. I see no point in doing so.

I think PPG is a terrible judge of offense. I’m sure the Raiders would look better in that department if they got to face the Dolphins Giants and Redskins.

I moved to AZ in 2005. That’s when the Cardinals first started to have any success at all as a franchise. Leinart (taken a spot ahead of Cutler) was exciting but he wasn’t very good. They were a really fun offense to watch with Warner, Boldin, and Fitzgerald. They lost Super Bowl 43 to the Steelers a couple years after the Bears lost 41 to the Colts. There were some shitty transition years between Warner and Carson Palmer. Palmer beat the Packers in the playoffs just like Warner did. And now they have a young exciting QB in Kyler Murray who looks to be pretty solid thus far. And they have a young offensive minded head coach very similar to Nagy. I favor Kingsbury. But that’s probably because the QB in Chicago can’t throw or run like the QB in AZ. It’s a rowdy fan base and a beautiful stadium. They definitely shouldn’t have built it in Glendale though.

As a good parent, switch asap so you won't infect your son with the Bears. Shitty organization , crappy team and a putrid stadium.

Don't think there's anything wrong with picking a team that's your playoff team when the Bears don't make the playoffs. I usually follow what the 49ers and Dolphins do if they make the playoffs. Grew up loving Marino, Rice and Montana.
