Stat Padford shouldn't scare anyone. If our defense decides to actually earn their money, I see multiple takeaways. That should be enough for our offense to put some points on the board.

Dalton throws for 500 yards and 4 TDs.

Bears lose 45-31.

Like I said in the other thread, Stafford has all that pent up frustration from losing to the Bears with those pathetic lions teams. He wants to prove he's a a super Bowl QB with a decent team. Bears defense get get lit up.

Stafford significant upgrade over Goff. Kupp and Woods are also levels above the Bears offensive "weapons". Rams win by at least 10 points.

Jared Goff sucks though. Don't even try to compare Stafford to Goff. LOL

Padford has had better weapons and still wet the bed late in games. It's what he does.

I haven't mentioned Goff. It's okay to look beyond Padford's overall numbers and focus on where he's consistently failed in his career.

Bears o line can't block and rams d line is elite. Do we think Matt Nagy can scheme up a gameplan to address this other than running shallow crossers? Nope rams 35 bears 13

I could see a low scoring game early on due to sloppy play but if the offense looks as bad as they did in the preseason eventually the defense will wear out and the floodgates will open. I'm not convinced the defense is that good to begin with this year, so I don't see it being a close game from the get go.

Nagy forgets about the running game. MANY 3 and outs. Bears struggle to get out of their own way.

Loss

Anything else will be a pleasant surprise.

Defense needs to win this one. 2 or 3 turnovers and a pick 6 might result in a 17-13 Bears win.

Seems to me that Nagy has committed to Dalton starting this game mainly to satisfy whatever promises were made by Pace when they signed him. After the first snap/series/game, all bets are off.

If the offense can do anything the Bears may pull it out, but with the huge mismatch between the Rams D and the Bears O line do not see the offense doing much of anything.

Rams 24-6

Last time they played, Rams 24-10. Why should this be any different?

Bears have scored 17 total points in 2 games against this defense. I don't see that changing .

Bears 10
Rams 23
