Las Vegas Hilton has it at Packers -3 with the total at 51.5

Rodgers swung it 7 points. Vegas guys were saying it would have been Bears -4 if Flynn started.

Though not officially, it's basically a playoff game.

There have only been 26 home playoff dogs since 1982. The dogs are 16-9-1 against the spread in those games.

And over the last 9 years the home team covers the spread in the playoffs 64% of the time, favorite or dog.

I think the public is gonna bet the Bears and that line will come down. So if you like the Bears, bet them now. The difference between 3 and 2.5 is big.

if McCown was starting, Green Bay would be 12.5 point dogs.

SNL should do a new superfans skit with McCown as the punchline instead of Ditka.

My friends, not since a certain Iron Mike patrolled da sidelines at Solider's Field has dere been a Godlike figurine in the history of Chicago sports lore dan dis Josh McCown. Those tornadoes earlier in the year only touched down because McCown had to beat the Ravens. If those storms happened on a Saturday, McCown would have shooed those tornadas away, and the town of Washington would have been saved. If McCown starts on Sunday, I say Bears 59, Packers 6.

Bears money line on this.

I doubt Rodgers makes it through this game. If I were Trestman, I would tell my DL that Rodgers must hit the ground on the first play of the game irrespective of legality.

There is no chance he makes it through this game.

Bears fans should be happy about this. This will screw Rodgers up for quite a while.

+135

Bet $100 to win $135 for those that don't know. No point spread.

Have the Bears been home dogs to the Packers in previous seasons?

Yep. First chance they get on a pass, drive his left side into the ground. Mark off the 15 yards while Flynn warms up on the sideline.

This is where having the former defensive coach from New Orleans would come in handy

Its not a bounty, just a normal hit on the QB. If its late, so what. Give up the 15 yards to knock Rodgers out early.

Temps will be falling into the single digits by the time it starts getting dark outside. That cannot help a semi-healed bone either.

What if I want a bounty tho?

Ring dings and pepsi to the guy who knocks out Rodgers.

Absolutely. Just off the top of my head, I'd say they've been home dogs to the Packers 4 or 5 times over the past 10 years. They were probably always home dogs in the Wannie years.

Here's the play everybody.

2-team, 6 point teaser

Bears +9 and Eagles + 0.5

That's a guaranteed winner, Chicago!!!!

Mel Tucker has made the opposing QB irrelevant. Just run and you'll put the Bears away. Trestman hits the panic button too early anyway when down, so throw in some INTs for Cutler as well.

Saw the McCarthy presser during lunch today and my first thought was, "how completely reckless as a head coach."

Starting Rodgers in this game is asinine and playing with fire. He's just doing this to stick it to the Bears and nothing more. That team is not built to go far in the playoffs with the injuries they've sustained and to start Rodgers is just so desperate.

That being said I hope he gets injured again which should get McCarthy on the hot seat for sure if not fired.

So wait, are the Bears going to magically develop a pass rush? Fatass Briggs will help right?

That magic pass rush is the reason why you guys aren't the division champs already

It's not like the Packers have a great offensive line. Before Cutler was sacked 5 times against the Eagles Rodgers had been sacked more than Cutler. Now they are tied but Cutler has played 10 games.

I just enjoy the Dr Bernstein impressions. Oh no, he won't finish the game. Oh ya, one hit and it'll rebreak.

You all don't need Rodgers to win this, KW. Bad move. As long as Mel Tucker is...coordinating this "defense," every team in the league has a shot against the Bears.

The Packers D is just as bad. With Flynn I had 0% confidence. With Rodgers the Packers have a chance.

I also enjoyed Rozner explaining how a collarbone heals. The Score needs more Jewish doctors and they'll really kick the shit out of ESPN.

With Flynn it's 50/50. With Rodgers, even if he is 20% and out for his career on the first hit(like the Score says), then we win. That's it. What local watering hole are you, I, and IMU celebrating this newfound division championship at?
