And then to top it off, you run an option play after the disastrous third down call

Well when Williams threw two straight passes directly to defenders it limited the playbook.

That was nice of the bears to give indy a free timeout.

“What a completion”? Lmao, the desperation of the announcers to make Williams happen is so pathetic.

Nice Hail Mary throw.. good tip and catch too but just short

Calebs made a couple nice throws today but let’s be honest this isn’t a good defense.. very frustrated with what we’re seeing here so far

I’m starting to fall out early with Waldron.. some really odd calls, the team still looks like theyre not on the same page, the run game looks lost, and he continues to make weird personnel decisions

High int numbers are common for rookies. If you can't see him making better throws today then you are blind.

Waldron doesn’t have a discernible game plan today

He has a lot less pressure today too and he has zero points. Bad!

The Colts are giving him these throws because they know the longer the Bears drives go the more likely the odds of a turnover. Williams should have at least three picks today but he’s been bailed out by a bad Colts defense and some very charitable officiating.

Williams is gonna be very good. He's getting better each game despite terrible play calling and poor protection.

The play calling on that 4-down series by the goalline was very, very bad.

He is starting to go downfield. Even if he doesn't connect on all of them, it's going to open up the underneath stuff and the running game. It's the Rex Grossman effect (when he was good Rex).

Williams' arm is great, and his movement is great. He's just slow at reading his progressions right now, which is to be expected from a guy who is in his third pro game.

The lack of points in the first half is largely because of the situational play calling.

Why aren't they getting him in more rollout/bootleg situations? That's the best thing for a young, talented QB who is still working on his progression speed. It also helps to open the running game. The D will start to sell out on a playaction bootleg if it's successful and will keep the defense guessing on run/pass.

The play-calling is garbage.
