Here is what is going to happen.

The Bears will finish with two more wins this year, and Caleb will show improvement. From that, the Bears will reason that Brown should be the next Head Coach (for 3 years, until he isn't) at a very affordable rate.

And we will be having this discussion in 2 years, because (I'm going out on a limb here) it won't work out

Who are they going to beat though? Maybe San Francisco? But that’s an away game and I don’t think taking a guy from the press box and plucking him on the field in a hostile environment (even as tame as Santa Clara) is a recipe for success.

Give me Deion Sanders and lets go! Bears will probably end up with Joe Brady.

I don’t think Deion is going to work as a coach in the NFL, his shit will work with college kids, not grown men.

Deion has received a lot of praise for his "staff-building"
He said before the draft essentially that Caleb was not a cold-weather QB.
Someone else can look up his exact words.

San Francisco has packed it in for the year, they'll get that one. Seattle if they get Bad Seahawks instead of Good Seahawks. Maybe Green Bay on the last week if playoff positions are set and the game doesn't count. And then the Bears are right back where they were last year, finishing with 7 wins in what was effectively a disastrous season.

I don’t care what is going on with the Packers, no way in hell they roll over for the Bears. Not a team that hasn’t beaten you in over 6 years.

They were competitive in three division games. There’s no reason they wouldn’t be competitive against those same teams again.

Here’s a reason: they aren’t getting another onside kick.

they had a shot at Tomlin and Harbaugh if they'd fired this guy into the sun at the right time.

Now the best they can do is Johnson and pair him with a DC that is the discipliner of the team.

KK's magic is running a little dry in Washington. Isn't it amazing what one (1) great OLman can do though?

It's going to be Marcus Freeman if Kevin Warren is really leading this.

As long as a McCaskey owns the Bears, Harbough will never be coming to Chicago.

Don’t forget the two black coordinators, black gay quarterback who wears a dress and paints his nails and the black woman who makes all of George’s hiring decisions.

You can eliminate any of the experienced guys as they would likely want to launch Poles immediately and would want substantial paper which the McCaskey's are not going to pay, so you are down to the college guys or NFL offensive coordinators.

The college guys know nothing about the NFL and will get their assess handed to them early and often, so that should eliminate them.

Ben Johnson will take one look at the mess Poles has created on both lines and ask himself why he should believe Poles could fix the mess he created, so that means he would want his own GM and that eliminates him.

From Warren’s perspective, who gets him a stadium? Not Marcus Freeman.

I'm not sure there even is one. Sean McVay or Mike Tomlin, maybe, but I can't think of any other names that would be some grand gesture of seriousness, and they're not even on the market.

Greeny's trivia question yesterday. Who's the only Bears first year head coach (in the super bowl era) to make it to the postseason? Nagy.

Then Carmen today talked about the number of FYHC''s in playoff contention just this year.

As most here expected:

Per Danny Mac

Quote:
BREAKING: Jim Harbaugh wanted to talk to the Bears about the HC job last January, but Kevin Warren quashed it. I've learned Harbaugh, through a long-time Bears employee, inquired and expressed interest. The staffer passed the message to Ryan Poles, who shared it with Warren. The president dismissed it summarily. #IBearWitness

Ron Rivera has reached out to the Bears and will get an interview according to someone I know.

Please do not hire this guy.

There’ve been a couple Poles-friendly leaks at Warren’s expense post-Flus.

Trouble in the-opposite-of-paradise?
