Got fucked in the ass by two long-ass field goals Monday, might as well get fucked in the ass again by a long-ass field goal on Sunday. Good one, life.

The defense now sucks, just as the offense is starting to wake up. I do however love Devin Hester.

I'll add to the doom and gloom.

Eagles 24
Bears 14

Defense is being owned by the run. Don't we have any coach that can make adjustments?

Adrian Peterson is getting the Edgar Bennett award from MJH on Monday.

The defense couldn't stop the run last year either. They are a turnover machine and if they aren't getting them then they are average at best.

Adrian Peterson absolutely destroyed them just like many running backs did last year.

Adrian Peterson may be a top 5 NFL running back right now and will definitely be next year.

Id be very hard pressed to name 5 better than him right now in the NFL.

Me either, but the season is still young. If he keeps this up, he is probably the best one besides LT but things change fast in the NFL.

Very true, but he runs harder than any player I have seen in the NFL, including LT, and has the quickness and versatility to outrun the few guys he cant run over. Barring injury this is one of the biggest cant miss prospects to ever come along in the NFL.(Does anyone even remember Reggie Bush?)

Caddilac was never even close to this. How can you point out 1 game out of 5 he didnt do fantastic in and say the praise isnt legit. He, by himself, has more rushing yards in each game then the opposing team does, but stats dont nearly define how good he is.

In 2005 caddilac actually started the year with better stats than peterson. I'm not saying peterson isn't good. I'm just saying let's wait a little bit before we declare him the second coming of walter payton.

If it wasn't for four or five big plays, we could have won this game. We didn't lose the game, we just ran out of time.

Yes, Peterson is the real deal. He has moves you seldom see out of an NFL back--he can avoid tackles and make defenders miss. No, he is not Walter or Sanders yet, but he is by far the best RB in the division and will only get better. If the Vikes can find a QB, they could be in division's catbird seat for ten years.

I wish the Bear would have a chance to draft a RB in the first ten picks one of these days.

Caddilac had a very good first 3 games of his career, then the next 4 games he combined for 82 yds in 4 games, although he was injured on and off. He had 6 100 rushing yd games his rookie season. AP already had 4 100 yd games out of 5 total, including a 224 yd game, and the one game he didnt have 100 yds his QB threw 0 TD and 4 INTs, and he is splitting time with Chester Taylor, whereas Caddilac was the main guy from day 1. I watched both play, and while AP may turn out to not be the best RB in the NFL, theres no doubt in my mind hes better than Caddilac, and better than all but maybe 3 or 4 RBs in the NFL right now.

The Bear defense has been living off its reputation going back to the middle of last season.

They struggled down the stretch last year. Tim Rattay picking apart the Bear defense, putting up 31? Detroit put up 21 last year and if M Williams doesn't drop the ball on the last play of the game the Bears lose.

Shaun Alexander ran for 100 yards in the playoffs against the Bears and we remember how the run defense was gashed in the SB.

The Vikings ran over the Bears last year in Soldier Field too, the difference was Brad Johnson was throwing the ball to Bear defenders and they did not have A Petersen last year.

After the high of stealing the Sunday night game in Green Bay, its not realistic to expect that high level of play every single week, week after week. An NFL team is allowed to play like garbage on occasion and still win ugly.

WHY THE HELL DID LOVIE HAVE IT KICKED TO FRICKIN PETERSON AT THE END?

WHAT THE F*CK.

DOH!

Viking radio guys need to do more homework. Running through a Bear? Tackled by Daneal Manning (Ricky was the tackler)?

Peterson... after he returned the ball in the final seconds of the 4th good enough to set up the FG.

That was clearly Ricky Manning. Good catch. Probably the only Bear tackle the whole game--maybe everything else was Vikings randomly falling down and self-tripping. Or Peterson scoring TD's

Think theres an NFL rule -- the winning team announcers get to mix up and mispronounce names on the losing team. If a team ends up losing and it was determined that their announcers messed up winning team player's names during the game call, then at the end of the game, the winning team gets to crash the booth and give each losing-team announcer a swirlie.

Not our turn to crash their booth this week.
