Yeah, I don't think that is going to work. I am hoping Frank is efforting this right now. Also, how him yucking it up on his OWN sidelines is laughing at a opponent.

Me too. Except for RPB. Fuck that guy. I hope Goggles cheap shots him with a wok at lunch today for his laughing at a potential future Packer loss.

Heck, even though he might be, that camera angle doesn't even make it clear he's pointing at the Bear.

 Yeah, no shit. Unlike some other charter franchises, we don't regret letting our backup leave town.

Not really, I couldn't care less about the Packers unless the Bears are playing them, the same way I only care about the White Sox when the Cubs play them. ARod seems like a cool guy, god knows our QB is a much bigger douche than he is.

Oddly enough, the one thing that gives me hope for the future (as a Bears fan) is Aaron Rodgers' perennial excellence. His spectacular play has concealed the problematic nature of Ted Thompson's talent acquisition operation over the past several years. With a decent GM in place, the Bears could rapidly overtake the Packers in the standings. Sadly, I have little faith that the McCaskeys or Ted Phillips could tell the difference between Mike Lombardi and Mike from Milwaukee. But even a blind squirrel finds the occasional nut.

Midge, I have not always been the biggest Ted fan either but this team only has 5 players on it that played for other teams. That is pretty crazy.

Wasnt that true even in years they were terrible (pre Favre)?

I wonder if much of that has to do with demographics. Green Bay and New England always seem to have the whitest teams, ostensibly in an attempt to reflect the makeup of the fans. Would a receiver like Jordy Nelson be coveted by other teams, or would GMs dismiss him as a product of the system and QB?

Actually Jurko on MJH used to always tell the story about how Reggie White paved the way for black players to go there. I guess Reggie used to bring in a barber because literally none of the barbers in Green Bay could cut black hair?

This fucking thread. Oy.

Aaron Rodgers is awesome. I think we can all agree about that and he mostly likely will win another SB and League MVP before this decade is over. NO Bears QB will do this in the next 20 years.

The Bears fucking suck and have sucked for almost 30 years. They are an embarrassment in this league and especially the NFC North. The ownership needs to die by firing squad or some kind of horrible car accident where they are all decapitated and have their genitals torn off.

The Bears haven't done shit since 1985 except lose to the Colts in '06. Whipdee frickin' do.

The Packers will always be good because the front office is not brain-dead and filled with weirdos like Halas Hall.

If I were Rodgers and I hung 50 on two teams (one at least at the pro level and the other Division IA) I'd be laughing my dick off. I saw the Eagles/Rodgers kerfluffle on ESPN and it's just boooooollllshit. He was joking with his players and some from the Eagles. There wasn't anything vindictive about it. It was a guy knowing how good he is and that he is untouchable at this point. FFS, the Bears won last year at Lambeau because he was hurt.

The Bears are a fucking joke. If you can watch something else on TV like for instance, an autopsy or total knee replacement, I suggest you do so. This is team beyond repair.

Sounds like he is coming out the closet as a Packer fan. Not sure if his parents will accept him.

I see Blount had himself a nice game Sunday with the Patriots. NE would sign a mass murderer if his contract was cap friendly. I wonder if they occassionally check in with Aaron Hernandez to see when he gets out.

Only beat the Vikings for a FG. Even the terrible Bears were able to beat them by 8 points.

By some weirdness, the Lions may fuck themselves down to third place in this division.

Still think the Lions will kick the Bears' dick in on Turkey Day.
