That’s the Roquan smith that is worth paying.

Dominique does something noteworthy every game

Some good and bad from Gordon and vildor

Pass rush was largely missing

Morrow also had his first good game

Consider this the goodbye Monty game in the off season

You and MANY media members have overrated him. I never thought Poles would pay him.

He’s a three down back who does everything you want of a running back. He isn’t elite but those guys aren’t as common as people think. Herbert doesn’t have all of his skills. Who knows, maybe the rest of the league holds him in the same esteem as you and he will be affordable

He's a hard runner and a good leader. He blocks better than Herbert and probably catches the ball better. He's nowhere near the same runner as Herbert. This offense needs a runner like Herbert.

praising montgomery is not a denigration of herbert. I celebrate both of their catalogues.

and I think Ebner can be this year's Herbert if Monty happens to miss a few games.

I've heard Montgomery referred to as a star far too often. He's a below average guy production wise who has above average intangibles.

Eberflus should be in the early CoY discussion. He's overachieved in the first 3 games. Instead of being 0-3, the Bears are in first place.

This is still a 6 win team at best. The only remaining wins I see are Washington, Lions at home(maybe), Jets and maybe Vikings at home in January.

I don't see a division win. The Bears will destroy the Patriots.

Bears will go 0-2 against the Lions this year. That team can outscore the Bears, unlike the Texans. They've quietly amassed some decent weapons (Swift, Hockenson, Williams, Brown, etc.) that should be more than enough to crush a team like the Bears.

The Bears always play like shit at Foxborough. And the Lions are no pushovers anymore, they may get swept. Maybe they split and win 1 game on the road vs Jets and Falcons.

I like both Montgomery and Herbert and losing Montgomery hurt their offense. Ebner is a big falloff. He runs away from contact too much for my taste.
