Top ten eventually.

The odds of this are literally zero. None. Nobody has ever been this bad and come around to being good in NFL history, it would be totally unprecedented. Teddy Bridgewater has a better chance of being a top ten quarterback than Caleb Williams does.

In that respect it is over. Best case now is he becomes a fringe top twenty in the NFL guy (and that would still be a historic turnaround from the level he’s currently at).

I know I'm being baited here but Alex Smith was worse as a rookie and ended up a top ten QB.

He played like a third of the season. Caleb Williams just finished his sixteenth career game and it was him completely failing to make up a three point deficit at home against a team barely hanging onto .500.

So now we are only counting people who started all their games as a rookie?

I'm tired of this "Doesn't count because it hurts my argument" game.

And I’m tired of lawyering statistics to death when Caleb Williams is on your TV missing a ton of throws, taking a bunch of terrible sacks and losing games in increasingly pathetic ways. Everything you need to know is right there!!!

If that was true you wouldn't have to create all these bizarre arguments about how he's the worst ever to do it.

He's been terrible at times. He's been really good at times. I think he will be even better next year and your posts along with Dr Style will be laughable. I guess we will see who is right.

Let's look at some other QB predictions, circa 2021…

Crazy as it may sound, I'm all in on Fields. To me, he was the best QB prospect in the draft and will become an elite player at his position sooner rather than later.

QB is a crapshoot. I don't mock anybody who was all in on (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, Fields, and now Williams. Only the QB gods know who's great, good, mediocre, and bad.

Hey, maybe CJ Stroud is bad.

I assume the Fields > Mahomes thing was a joke. I'm not Dr Style.

people who quote my draft day love of Bear qb are the same people who quote my Sox draft day STUD-World Series threads.
