Typical Purdue asshole.

Well, she's a Penn State Grad....he had no choice.

Here's an awesome pic of Shea sacking Caleb Hanie:

He's a LB forced to be a DE. All of his best plays come from the standing position.

OB was lambasting McClellin on the postgame show tonight. During initial contact with the offensive tackle, he says that Shea lacks sufficient power and leverage to knock his man off balance and thus is easily neutralized.

I've definitely noticed the lack of power when he engages his man. A lot of times it seems like he's only taking that first step into the tackle so he can spin off of him. The spin move doesn't work, though, if the tackle's footwork/stance haven't been compromised. I also think OB raises a good point about leverage--it frequently seems as though McClellin hits the OT way too high.

I'll wait to see if he's getting better or just got lucky. He seems to be a one-trick pony right now.

Oh I agree. That (Mark Anderson) is my ceiling for him this year.

If he can duplicate Anderson's rookie season, buy your SUPERBOWL tickets now, my friend.

I honestly think Lovie had a lot to do with the pick and had Anderson in mind.

Like, we know we can get a 3rd down rusher in the draft that can help right away. Nevermind the other downs, we need to win THIS year.

I'm cool with drafting a guy who will never be able to do anything other than rush the passer, but that guy better be a phenomenal pass rusher.
