What? Fields is much more of a scrambling QB than he is a pocket passer at this stage in his career.

It's truly amazing, though, that Nagy had a scrambling QB but NEVER ran a scramble drill to capitalize on his greatest strength in the passing game. Unbelievable.

I can believe anything and everything at this point that exhibits the stupidity of Matt Nagy.

I've heard them talk about the scramble drill after a game. Supposedly Allen Robinson ran it the wrong way in a few games.

I heard Getsy's meeting with Barry Switzer just in case they need to install 'the bone'.

Have you watched Buffalo?

QB sweeps all day long.

Getsy is a moron if that's not part of his playbook.

The stupidity of the people that employed Nagy and didn't fire him after 2020 cannot be discounted by any sane, rational person as well. Since you are neither sane nor rational, you will defend the McCaskey family to the death.

With N’Keal’s injury the Bears must be sabotaging their receivers on purpose to give cover for Fields being bad.

If they found a stud LT in the 5th round, I will be all in on Ryan Poles. It sounds like at least 3 of his draft picks will be good players this season.

I think Ebner will be good, too.

That would be a pretty good start to his tenure. 2 starting DBs, a starting LT and a solid RB

Not if they’re starting because the roster is awful.

No one said they were now superbowl contenders. We get how bad they are.

But they have had a lot of bad rosters over the years and still had drafts that did not give them 3 starters.

By all accounts, the kids have been good. We'll see how they perform against live competition in the coming weeks.

Fair enough I guess, but every team has training camp studs that are never heard from again.

Maybe. 3 good starters who are foundation pieces in a rebuild would be. I’m just not buying that’s what they have at this point based purely on training camp reports.

Well sure if these guys are 3 good starters that kick start a good team then it is an amazing start.

But I would say that considering where Pace and Nagy left the Bears if Poles can come away from this first year/draft with 3 starters that it is a good start.

It’s only a good start if they are starters down the road when they are competitive again. Otherwise they are just stopgaps.

not exactly a stretch to think you could have found two day 1 starting level db in the second round of a draft

So Santos claims that the high school field he was kicking on in Florida was too good, so had to go find a worse turf that was more comparable to Soldier Field, Mercy!!!!
