In recent history, we've seen at least 1 Mike White like performance a year. The unknown guy plays well for a quarter, half or a game, and then goes back to sucking. Rarely do they ever turn out to be good or even stars. I believe we've gotten 3 of those games so far ths year.
Mike White's not the answer to anything except a trivia question. As long as he doesn't shit himself in whatever games he starts the rest of the season White should be in line to get a good-but-not-matt-flynn-seahawks-sized multi-year deal to be a backup. Longer season will result in teams competing to lock up competent backups this coming off-season.
White's performance raises uncomfortable questions in the Jets locker room w/r/t Zach Wilson and his piss-poor performance to date. The answer at QB for the Jets going forward after this season will likely be neither White or Wilson. At least it shouldn't be. Jets will probably drag out the failed Zach Wilson experience for another season or half-season before admitting Wilson's a CFL QB at best and tanking for yet another go 'round at fucking up drafting a franchise QB
