That doesn't make any sense Bob. Restructuring a deal hurts their future cap, it only makes sense to do it if you're going to spend that money this summer in an "all-in" move for next season.

Restructuring only hurts in reference to the player with said deal. Meaning if they wanted to cut Mack later on, it would cost more. I highly doubt Mack will be a target for getting "cut" the next 2-3 years and if so something has gone horribly wrong.

Bears already signed a shitty kicker to replace Parkey. He would be an improvement for the Pack over Crosby, though.
