Taylor sucks so far and Rodgers will obliterate them like he is the entire league this year.

Also, FavreFan claiming that Ronald Jones had a Hall of Fame game last night, just exposes him as a Stat Line Scouter. He had ONE and I mean ONE big play the 37 yard run where the Bears Dline had a brain fart and Roquan missed a tackle. Take that away and he didn't do shit. The Bears were constantly blowing him up in the backfield.

I watched the game. He ran all over you guys. And again, he's terrible

Beating the first place team in the NFC South isn't impressive. Beating the second place team in the NFC South is impressive.

So far they have 19 tonight in the late 4th, with seven of those coming due to post-INT short field. The Bears have a stingy defense.

Bucs had too many injuries on offense to call them dominating. Talk to me after the Packer game.

1) Watching the NFL network 30 second highlights and reading the box score does not equate to watching the game.
2) You have an odd definition of "ran all over".
3) He's not terrible. He's an average to slightly above running back.

You're never allowed to use the box score scout insult again. You don't know shit about anybody in this league apparently.

I don't think I have to provide the quotes about things you said after the Packers beat the Saints.

Again, I'm pretty reserved about the Bears 4-1 Record. You are putting the Packers in the Superbowl this year based on beating 3 terrible teams and another team(2-2 btw) without their best player. Those that live in glass houses.....

Everyone is. They aren't very good and don't have a quarterback. GB is very good and does have one.

They've dominated every team they faced. That's what good teams do. They don't squeak past the Giants

The Packers just squeaked by the Saints without their best player. But continue to celebrate non-accomplishments.

They dominated the Saints. A late field goal by the Saints to get it within 7 is squeaking by, Box Score Bob?

The teams will have two chances to prove it head to head. Up until now, the Packers look dominant, while the Bears are scraping by. Hard to argue otherwise.

yes, clearly he should have said 30

That’s fair. Gotta allow for the possibility Green Bay doesn’t bring their A game
The Packers havent scored 30+ points against the Bears since week 3 of 2017.

1st overall in completion percentage 57% (packers are second to last  ) and 4th overall in yards given up per pass (packers 8th from last  ). https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/de ... 20/reg/all

Only 4 TDs given up all year, good for third overall even though they've played one more game than any other team (aside from TB).

Pretty much the same thing as last year. If the offense can manage to get 22 or 24 points, this team should coast 11 or 12 wins at least as long as they can stay healthy.

Last year too, that's what was so frustrating about the "hey, let's give this Trubinsky kid a chance, he drives a Camry" crowd. Totally wasted a year of good enough defense.

I can’t stress enough how happy it makes me that you’re scratching and clawing for random stats to make it seem like the Bears are on GB’s level. Even remotely.

As denis said, they’ll meet on the field soon. Should be fun.

At this rate, the Bears will be the first legit team that the Packers have to face this season.

Ranking held up/slightly improved after most other teams caught up in games played over the weekend. Bears are also second overall in opponent's QB rating, after the Colts. Also, they are first overall in # of TDs surrendered. It's tough so far to get 6 on these guys.

The stats are what they are so I won't bother disputing other than to point out context - ie the quality of offenses they've played. Surely you'd agree that playing a team with a bad O will generally result in better defensive stats. To date the Bears have played following offenses (ranked by EPA/play): 23rd, 31st, 20th, 22nd, 21st. I agree that the Bears defense is good but some regression also seems likely.

Didn't see this till now. I'm not sure I'm ready to call the offenses bad outside of the Giants. And I'm also not sure if those metrics reflect output before or after the Bears played those respective teams. While regression may be in order the stats also may stay level or marginally improve if the offense stays on the field longer by converting third downs, which they don't do well at all. That extra wind for the D will be a boon for the numbers.
