I understand, and I thank you for proving my point for me.

Just when I thought the McCaskey’s couldn’t be any more embarrassing, yesterday happened.

I think the ghost of Mike Ditka haunts the McCaskeys. I think they have been afraid of going after such coaches after their experiences with him. Not saying that his style is the only way to win either. But I just find it odd that most of their coaching hires since him all seem to fit a certain profile personality wise.

A ton of bricks has been thrown on top of Brown. Yet...it's house money. It's quite an interesting situation. On one hand, it's deadly serious because it's an audition for one of the prime positions in sports, one the other, just being better than crisis choker Eberflus is a win for him, career wise. If I was in his brain I'd emphasize two things. Get Caleb to perform, manage the game. Those two things get done, you got a good case to present in the interview.

   yes, please make that happen! OMG, Packers fans would rejoice.

I figured that'd drag at least one of you in here.

Would be really hilarious if this happened and we started stomping the Packers regularly every year.

He was good in GB. And as far as Dallas goes.. Jimmy Johnson couldn't put up with Jones, Parcells couldn't stand him and now McCarthy has had to deal with him. I'd take at least some of McCarthy's issues with Dallas with a grain of salt due to Jones and his always looming micro-managing presence.

The fact that you think know more about him than a Packers fan is perfect.

Well I know he was actually able to win with Rodgers unlike the guy they have now..

Packer fans seem to think that their fandom makes them pseudo NFL experts.

It’s strange and laughable all at the same time.

My thoughts on this don’t require knowledge of the entire NFL, but I get that comprehension isn’t your thing. If you believe that you and NME have more incite into Packers goings on then by all means, move on to McCarthy. As I said, that would make me very happy.

At least the Bears got the Rooney rule covered…black president, general manager, head coach, and all coordinators. That’s gotta be a first.

ah yes, the same Rodgers that regularly dismissed McCarthy’s play calls and ultimately got him tossed. If you want an another coach who mismanages the clock, makes bad challenges, wastes timeouts and is unable to make halftime adjustments then McCarthy is your guy.

Who’s the 9th best black coordinator on the market?

George hires on pure DEI now, if you’re not black or a woman you might as well not apply. I’m not sure the Bears will draft another white player in my lifetime.

I can’t tell if it’s some weird white savior complex or he is trying to appease Mayor Hotep hoping he’ll stadium handouts. Either way, George’s mind is locked in a bygone era. The world has moved on from this bullshit, the Bears are careening towards a multi decade dark age like what the Bills & Lions have recently climbed out of and the Browns seemed destined to stay in forever.

Someone should tell him Ben Johnson is the Canadian guy.

Seems like everyone wants a guy who is offensive minded, been on championship teams, worked with a HOF quarterback and has experience as a head coach?

Only one name really comes to mind that fits the bill: Matt Nagy.

USA is a trans women, who gives a fuck what she/they say. Bears had to fire whitey's to save there season in waldron and eber flus. They need to make whitey's sit in the back of the bus next where they belong.

The coverage of him buying a place in Streeterville has a real "coming home to die" feel to it, though.

Haha, it's the middle-aged version of dropping your kids off at the magazine rack. Ain't that a kick in the leg.
