I don't like this game at all. I envision a late game winning drive by the Lions. How can the Bears let them go 98 yards for a TD?

My heart may not make it to the end.

I think I like Stafford.

Mark Anderson has looked okay today. The rest of the defense not so great.

OK, does Forte suck or is the O-line just that bad?

Gotta throw balls OVER the first down marker Jay. Just some advice.

Pretty close so far!

120+ yards for Forte wasn't it? Not a bad day overall.

I think the worry comes from 90 yards of that came in 2 runs.

Exactly. I'll take 2, 3, 4 yard runs all day as long theres some 10+ yard runs sprinked in there

2 TE's will score. Clark will not.

Hester will hurt his shoulder

This team never plays to win, it plays not to lose. If they are leading at the half they don't play with intensity the second half. They play at their opponent's level for most of the game.

Today they made some adjustments at half time which I was happy to see.

Except for that whole going-for-it-on-4th-down after the penalty .... oftentimes teams that are playing it safe take points off the board.

When did Greg Olsen surgically have his hands replaced with cinder blocks?

 I don't remember any drops from him today. In fact, the catch on the low TD pass was pretty good, and in an important spot.

Thank God we can finally put to rest that ridiculous "Gould has never his a FG of of 50 yards" stat. He hit a 50+ yarder in the preseason this year. He hit a 49 yarder in bad weather in January to win the Seahawks playoff game.

I've expected him to be targeted more too. He is not as involved as I thought he would be. Maybe Ronnie is trying to psych the other teams out.

The problem with Olsen is that if he isn't putting up WR-like numbers he is hurting your team because he can't block very well.

Perhaps that helped forte today, having Clark back to block. Would converting Olsen to an actual wr work?

Bears showed some success in double TE sets today though.
His blocking will come along.
He's getting open. Maybe he'll grow out of this droppy phase he's in.

This is true almost 100% of the time, which is why I was happy to see Turner continue to go to TDs later in the game.

Though on the last drive when Wolfe got the TD, Cutler did not need to be on the field.

Alex Brown has been a monster all year long, as has Briggs.

Too many facemask penalties.

He lost steam at the end of that run today and looked slow. That should have been a TD.

You know what was horseshit? Knox dropping the ball before the endzone.

The one on Brown certainly was, but there was another one in the game too. I think they had 2 or 3 last week in Seattle too.

Brown is going for the "most hosed player of all time" lifetime achievement award. Dude is held more than anyone else in the NFL, and still manages to be a good DE. He was blatantly held at least twice this game, with no call, to add to the BS horse-collar.

He's worth every penny they pay him. It's unbelievable that they salvaged this guy from the scrapheap. Great story; compelling, and rich.
