Ruhr now, after Duerson's suicide - the Bears IRing Hunter Hillemeyer is a story again. Highly educated union rep for the Bears? I heard it reported that Duerson never had concussions while playing. Maybe back then it was just the proverbial bell getting rung.

The bears will point to this as their concern for players long term health. Had it been Forte, Cutler, Urlacher, Peppers, Briggs or Tillman?

Hunter Hillenmeyer, a former member of the Chicago Bears who recently completed an eight year professional football career, has joined OpenChime.com as director of corporate development. Hillenmeyer will be responsible for developing the OpenChime brand and working to foster partnerships that will expand the market position of the free online service that connects consumers with local vendors and merchants. Hillenmeyer, the Bears' NFL Players Association union representative from 2006 until 2011, will bring leadership experience from his pro football career, which began in 2003, to OpenChime. He has an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
