You want a serious answer? Here goes: your opinions thus far, both in sports-related matters and matters of radio opinion, have proven remarkably similar to an another poster. That poster has regularly proven himself completely out of his element on many topics, including football. You did yourself no favors by seeming so similar to him in so many ways.
More specifically, no, I haven't noticed that Peppers has been unimpressive after the Seahawks game. Maybe I failed to notice it because he's had six sacks and 10 quarterback hits during that time, along with several other tackles for loss and passes defensed. Maybe it's because he was just named a starter on the pro bowl team. Maybe it's because a number of useful but mediocre defensive linemen have become much, much better since he came to the team, suggesting that maybe (just maybe) Peppers is getting these numbers while absorbing an inordinate amount of attention.
But I'll try to notice these things better in the future.

Anyhow, note that 3 of those sacks came against the hapless Miami squad who was playing behind a 3rd stringer. He was manhandling double teams before that game, and he has not been as relentless with his pressure since. I cannot ignore what I see with my own eyes.
Also, I am only me, but I can't see how any "element" is needed to post here, as even dopey guys like myself can offer opinions on football. I am no expert by a longshot, but I watch the games, like yourself, and this is just what I have been wondering lately. It is cool that you dice it down like that, and your analysis is exactly what I was looking for: somebody else's take on the matter.
