The secretive injury stuff never bothered me, he lost all credibility with his quotes on guys like archuletta,pace,Hester,Davis and his constant drivel on how the wideouts were great and no changes were needed.

Just who is (was) the candid coach who's open and honest about players, injuries, strategy (before or after a game), and performance that was also a media darling, loved by the fans, and has a ring? What coach was the 24/7 straight shooter who is/was one in the same both personal life and professional life? Who is this coach that is more concerned with hiding his arrogance as opposed to hiding his flaws, real or perceived?

What's the difference? There was some other coach, I forget his name, but he had a mustache and developed a messiah complex. He got bounced out of the playoffs in consecutive years at home and after a bye and against inferior talent. He made a bizarre "this too shall pass" statement. Who needs to hear that again.
