It's also nice to know that one injury, and this team is fucked. Great depth at WR gang!

No. There isn't one person that follows football that expected Miami to be this bad. Some had them going to the SB. They have a good defense (top 5) and you can't turn the ball over 6 times. WTF was Hester doing?

Playing like shit. Just like Grossman.

One more bad game like this for "Rexy", and I'm calling for Brian Griese.

Where was the God Damn play action? Fuck me!!!!!!!!!!

My point was they are still 2 and 6. It reminded me of a team in baseball being down 5 nothing and someone hits a homerun. BFD

Nas, The Bears got beat by a reasonably good team. When they face the Giants, Jets, Pats, etc. they will get creamed.

The Vikes are playing SF today and will likely win.

The Bears better take a really, really hard look because this could be the start of something really bad.

Doug and OB ("streaming") are saying all the right things. The Bears will not beat the Giants.

I will be watching the rest of the season through my fingers.

The Giants and Pats game will be complete slaughters.

Bears can't beat the AFC.

There are AT LEAST a half dozen AFC teams that would embarrass the Bears.

"You can't say they will get creamed by watching one game. Each one of those teams you mentioned has played a terrible game and lost. It happens. No team is expected to go 16-0 in a season. It's one loss. I know the game just ended but you have to be reasonable."

I wish I had your phone number so we could argue about this (in a friendly manner of course), but Nas, going 16-0 without a SB title means nothing!

The teams the Bears will be facing are BETTER than they are.

If the Bears can't sack Harrington, how will they get to Tom Brady and Eli Manning?

Nas, if the Bears won 100 - 17 I would still say there are several teams (even in the NFC) that will cream the Bears.

Cinch it up and strap it down!

Why? The Bears are clearly that. They can't beat a "shit team" like the Dolphins, Grossman basically sucks when pressured, and Thomas Jones dances around the fucking field like Emmitt Smith on "Dancing with the Stars".

As a Bears fan, this ripped my heart out.

I'd like to disagree with you; I really would.

Nas, I know the Bears lost a game, but it is HOW they lost.

I have been a fan for 20 years and this game made me want to puke.

The Bears looked like a 1-6 team today. Simple facts my friend.

Actually Nas, I said the Bears would lose 2 of the 3 "New" games before the season started. You seem to be in the minority today. I love your optimism, but don't mock my realism.

That's kinda the point. They played poorly & lost, but it's not the first time they played poorly. Minnesota & Arizona were terrible games on both sides. Today they should not have 6 TO's, have Gage doing a poor imitation of a WR, have Hester running a muck returning, giving up big yards, missing tackles etc etc.

LMAO! You guys are crazy! I would hate to have any of you supporting me. If I fucked up once I know I would be kicked to the curb.

Nas, this is not the first time Rexy has played scared this season. Let's just say this....Rex is a work in progress. He is not Brett Favre. I don't want Rex gone or benched, but when he is getting beat down why make him suffer and fuck up more? Take him out for a series, sit his ass down and try it again on the next series.

Rex SHOULD be learning from his past mistakes but he is not.

Well, I'll say this: if the D-line doesn't improve it's play in a big way, they will get swept on this road swing. I have no idea where these guys went, but let's get these imposters out of there; pressure, guys. Sacks, guys. Where the fuck you at?

I still can't believe that pud Harrington is 5-3 lifetime vs the Bears.

What CB said, it's just not once. How many times does he have to throw off his back foot so he can figure out it might be intercepted?

He's not a wooden indian, therefore the Bears can't touch him. They should thank their lucky stars they wont face Atlanta; if Leinart can evade their rush and Smith can pick up rushing first downs with regularity, I'd hate to see how Vick would shred them.

Agreed. If a team scores 31 pts they should win. The D gave up big plays today but over all I feel they are pretty solid. We may miss Brown and have some trouble with coverage now.

How many of those pts came from TO's though? I put most of this loss on Rex because he kept killing us with TOs.

nas....did you watch the same game that we did?

did the bears look like they had 7 wins or 1 win today? you can lose in the NFL, and still look halfway decent (see the rams offense today against KC). today, the bears looked like absolulte horseshit. i didnt think that it could get any worse than that first half in arizona...boy was i wrong.

if they look this bad next year, im jumping..

We have 1 loss, but we had the same problem against Arizona as we did today. Our offense was terrible and Rex Grossman was terrible. He thinks he can make every throw on the field and he tries to. His has good touch, good accuracy, and could be a good quarterback. The problem is that his head fails him and he cannot recover. I have always hated how he always talked about how he idolized Brett Farve and wanted to be like him because no QB should want to be Brett Farve. Fundamentally, Farve is terrible and the fact that he is amazing at it is the only reason he gets away with it.

I really don't want to sound like I am piling on Rex but watching that game, I think that for all the big numbers he puts up that lead to blowout wins, he will lose games for you. I forsee a january night going just about how today went and it scares me.

At this point, I see no signs to point to the fact that Rex is going to find a way to avoid costly mistakes like he had today and at Arizona. The Giants game will tell us a lot.

Another question I have is, why the fuck can't the Bears coaches make adjustments? This game was a carbon copy of the Arizona game.

That dink and dunk bullshit worked with the Packers for years against the Bears and now the Cards and the Fins do it.

I better not hear one fucking "Road to Miami" comment from any of these Bear players. They sucked!

There's no way to adjust to your quarterback throwing the ball to the other team, and just about every guy who touches the ball putting it on the carpet. Miami put up a lot of points, but then they were working with a short field, and the offense was on the field far more often than not.

IMO Kyle Orton lost 2 games for the Bears last year. He did not win any. Rex is more talented and has more potential to win games. He cannot continue to make bad decisions or throw off his back foot. If he does he will lose games for the Bears as he did today. I will complain, at great length, about that.

He is the best QB we have had in a long time.

That's a tallest midget award if I've ever heard one. Bears have a long list of really bad QBs.

I wish we had a chat room for Bears games.
