by the way, the circle jerks were kind of split from the board. The remainder is the personality jerks.

Gilbert is the best player who I see most often considered to be there when the Bears pick. I have no idea how a guy with his measurables and production isn't being considered at the very top of the draft. Of course, the lack of noise about him probably means he is being considered at the top by the guys doing the actual picking.

Safety is the #1 need but I think Gilbert is going to be one of those cover CB for the ages...of course, everyone will bitch that he doesn't tackle, just like they did with Deion.

The other guy who I see there in a lot of drafts is Barr. Has the world gone insane. He is not that far from Clowney in the speed measurables. He needs a little more time learning the position and gaining strength. I could easily see him being the best player in this draft in two years.

I really think this is going to be a draft we look back on as being legendary in its talent offered.

I hope you're right. I'd love Gilbert. Barr would be a great pick as well (ignore earlier post, got my players mixed up).

And as far as the board goes what did I miss? Somebody fill me in.

A civil war erupted pitting friend against friend and poster against poster. Blood was shed, people were hurt and in the end the board survived because the board MUST survive.

Now we just need IB back

Why? So he can tell us how great a GM Jerry Angelo was and how bad a W B.. Marsh is? No thanks.

No because he's one of, if not thee, smartest football poster on the board.

And I cant believe your still commenting on him after the Terry's Guy fiasco.

Exactly. IB is the goods when it comes to football. Even when I disagree with him he is a must read.

 Always enjoy a a Terry's Guy reminder

Agreed. Would love to see them go Odell Beckham Jr in the 1st if he's still there.

They already have two "stud" WR. They also have one developmental WR and two veteran for depth.

As far as returners go, remember that Ford looked great in that position last pre season. They also signed a guy off the Saints practice squad with top speed who was a great returner in the CFL.

Yes,I know they do. I just worry about injury. I feel another WR with superstar potential (not just a "guy" like the ones you mentioned),could do more for the defense than a new safety that gets put in a rotation or some mediocre D-Linemen at pick 14.

Best case scenario today is Donald, Barr and Gilbert all being there at 14. That would be a tough decision. I would probably go with Gilbert even though Donald is my guy.

That won't happen.

It seems to me Emery doesn't expect Donald to be there but if he is they will take him.

Gilbert is the only one from that list gone.

Edit: Now he's gone.

The question:

Was Kyle Fuller a satisfying pick for good dolphin or did he Hub-throw his pen?

In an incredible twist, I am pretty sure I will like whoever they draft this year. Every scenario I have considered ends with a guy I really like...Donald, Dix, Denard, Gilbert, Fuller, even guys like Jernigan, Nix and Mosley. I don't dislike any of these moves. There are some excellent moves even if they trade down.

This is going to be a tough draft to mess up for any of the NFL teams. I think the entire division will probably get better, it will only be a matter of degree.

I wish Dewskie were still here to see this day.

Hub said hard ass corner that can play safety until Peanut goes.

That's how I see it. I'm a little troubled that Emery didn't come out and say he was a safety until Peanut is gone. Instead he is calling him a nickel. I think need alone is going to put him in the safety position in 2014.

I cannot call it satisfying when the guy everyone wanted got snatched up unexpectedly one pick before us after being passed by all the obvious takers.
