I'm ready for Bernsy to justify this pick by saying that it's just another case of Emery and Treastman being football hipsters. They just like marching to the beat of their own drum and are really quirky guys! Never mind the fact that they're once again getting terrible value for their spot.

I would have taken Nix. But I think the guy has potential in the run game.

He's Ratliff.

I'm not thrilled thus far. A CB when Mosley was available and now a "potential" guy with one career sack. Nice job Phil! Now we have Shea at DT!

Are they still running Cover 2? They can't really afford to have a house in the middle of a Cover 2.

You know shit's bad around here when Hub Arkush is a beacon of optimism compared to some of you.

Ego Ferguson's stats won't wow ya, #Bears fans. Left school early after not starting until his junior year. 1 career sack.

1 CAREER SACK????????

Yea I don't know about this one. This seems like a reach. Smartest guy in the room may have just reared his ugly head.

Gabriel said Nix is not a fit in the Bears scheme.

Hehe... look guys... let's just hold off on anointing these guys before they've played a game. I mean... hehehe... let's just tone it down a little bit.

I know nothing of Ferguson. But I feel I'm obligated to bitch about this pick. Phil ruined it for me in round 1 with Fuller.

I thought they're committed to tailoring to the talent going forward.

This is a good pick. He can definitely help this team.

Hyde is a scary good pick for the Niners.

If I'm Marcus Lattimore I'm feeling pretty discouraged. Maybe motivated, I dunno.

Either way, I like that combo.

If Mayock thinks he is Ratliff that is cool with me.

NFL.com has him rated as Round 2-3, so not sure how he can be that major of a reach.

I would rather have had Jernigan or Hageman. But if they are convinced Nix does not work for their system, then I am good with this pick.

Nix still on the board. Why the fuck not?

Some mocks I saw had Nix rated as the top DT in the entire draft.
