Think about this.

The two supposed "stars" on this team look like shit and are going to be paid a lot of money for the next few years.

Forte is the best player. Cutler has struggled when it mattered the last 2 games.

Good point.

I left out Forte.

So 2 out of the three look like shit. Still not a good percentage.

It's not. Marshall needs to get open and Cutler needs to ignore Trestman. What is Trestman going to do?

This was precisely the question I asked B&B a few weeks ago, whether the NFL would catch up with Trestman. It seems the NFL has, which would mean Tress is no genius then. For only geniuses like Belichik stay ahead of the league.

Yes he is.

I still remember the day the trade was made. I talked to a high school buddy who was a Broncos fan. I basically said " Are the Broncos out of their fucking mind?" And he said "Just wait.....he looks like the part but after a while you'll see why he was traded"

Too bad that fucker decided to get injured.

Also, I think it is fucking stupid that they have completely abandoned the use of the fullback.

Cutler is dumb. He's done. I'm done with him. He's not special. He's a fucking dummy.

He should be breaking out and running when nothing else works. If anything, is has been shown to completely derail a defense's plan against them - and yet they under-employ the shit out of that weapon.

Wilson's injury hurt the team but you need to be prepared for these things and make the necessary adjustments. The Bears don't have a fullback now.

Now if you bench him to "send a message", that would be different. We'd still lose to GB regardless.

Claussen might just be better than Cutler. Who knows? Jay is just a guy. If you put Clausson in a #6 jersey you might not notice a difference. Bears are paying Cutler $22.5 million fucking dollars this year. I am pretty sure they could get a guy for $500K to play at Jays meciocre level. The Bears are fucked thanks to the stupid contfact they gave him when they should have franchised him for this year and then let him go.

no they should have offered him a total low ball deal and he would get pissed only to find nobody else would pay him either so he would actually try to be better

It's not that he's dumb. It's that he lacks the ability to make quick decisions and to read progressions quickly. Every safety on every opposing team just reads his eyes and plays center field. John Lynch talked about it today. Beyond that, his mechanics suck and he's undisciplined and a bad leader. But his main problem is the lack of reads and staring down of receivers.

Cutler is nowhere near the primary issue with this team or offense. He just seems like the easy target for some reason.

Because he is the Franchise QB and makes more money than anyone else and the whole offense was built for him?

Cutler deserves every bit he gets. Just because the defense sucks doesn't mean you can't criticize Cutler.

Yeah but they don't appear to even get open against zone. It's hard to tell if they're never open or if Cutler can't make reads and his staring down of receivers makes them look less open than they are. Probably somewhere in the middle.

I DVR the games. I watched todays game again and they were never open, even across the middle where it is the easiest to get seperation. It really is strange.

And Jay doesnt have any of the intagiables like leadership. He is disliked by his team mates. Everything that we heard about him was spot on.

I'm not saying that you can't criticize him but it seems like the criticism misguided. Production wise he has been better than all of you expected. A bad defense and horrible play calling makes you all overlook this fact.

Cutler leads the NFL with 11 giveaways.

This fucking douche makes $1.4 million per game.

It really is unbelievable how stupid the Bears management is.

Those QB stats dont show fumbles lost. Jay has 3 lost fumbles and 8 INT's, for 11 total giveaways.

Andrew Luck leads the NFL in interceptions. Jay Cutler has been a top 7 QB.

So stats lie? If we can't rank him based on production how else can we rank him?

Yup. I was wrong about Emery, Trestman and this team. I have completely changeed my opinion of all of them. Trestman is no longer worthy of being my avatar.

With regards to Jay leading the league in giveaways, stats arent subjective. They are what they are. Jay has 8 picks and 3 lost fumbles to lead the NFL with 11 giveaways.

The Bears need more ROI than they are getting from Jay and the $1.4 million they are paying him every Sunday.
