No, I will be very disappointed.

I don't know why you wouldn't be happy to go 9-8 with the least expensive offense in the NFL.

Rumor has it they are also a rather young team, too!

I should wait until I see him play before making this assessment, but fuck it.

I think Caleb is mentally ahead of some second year starters. They're asking him to make reads and checks that rookies aren't asked to do. I was watching/listening to Up and Adams today, and it sounds like Eberflus has been tailoring practices to intentionally stress Caleb. During the downtime, Eberflus is also giving him lessons on defenses and their tendencies.

I think this kid may take flight immediately. He's played with shit lines the past two years. I don't think the Bears will have a shit line, but he's ready if they are.

I think a couple educated guesses can be made if you look at the schedule. I wouldn't be surprised with a good first half of the season and a declining second half of the season. For mediocre and average NFL teams, schedule isn't everything but it is key. 9 wins should be a given seeing the schedule. Betters seems to think so also as I can't find an 8.5 anymore.

Brick, it is confirmed, the Packers are the youngest 25.2 to 25.6 and the Chiefs are the 2nd youngest.

I definitely follow the NFL, but I don't have an affinity for fantasy football.

So where are you hearing that the Packers are going to be bad or however you would like to phrase it?

The Packers and young and cheap.
That's two championships right there.

I hear that they are borderline great from Favre Fan, which inevitably means they will have a disappointing season (in accordance with the Favre Fan Hallucinatory Reality Theory of the Universe).

Caleb says there aren't 2 quarterbacks in the NFL better that Stafford. He can't be great at everything.

Edit: Someone needs to create a game thread.

This from a Cincinnati sports reporter from the scrimmages has me more pumped than anything else I've seen in camp thus far

I wonder why the Pats thought Atlanta would be worse despite being in a weaker division…

I can see Velus.

The Herbert talk is ridiculous, unless someone offers a fairly high draft pick. RB with 4.9 career averages don't grow on trees. Khalil is the best ball carrier on the team.

Swift has not been an incredibly durable back in his career. Johnson wasn't even good last year, despite the love affair with the media, and his running style is always going to result in injuries.

I agree with you about Herbert. I liked his ability as a runner when Monty was here. That said, he's entering his final year, and they appear to be showcasing him, possibly for a team like the Cowboys. Keep in mind, he was the 3rd running back when thr preseason started.

Velus (his name autocorrected to Delusional) has been forced down our throats. He's getting first team reps. They really want to keep him. He's also a Poles guy that has 2 years remaining on his contract.

Brett Rypien claiming he and Bagent come from similar backgrounds is hilarious. I'm not sure Tyson has a Super Bowl winning uncle in his family.
