If Wilson were to get injured during the season and that injury lingered so Russell Wilson Athletic Gear couldn't pass a physical 2 months after the season ended Broncos on the hook for all of his 24 and 25 salary. Broncos tried to negotiate with Russ to remove the 25 season salary vesting on injury this March. Wilson's side refused to remove it...is what they're saying is the reason for putting Wilson on ice the rest of the season.

From what I read in a breakdown, Wilson does not fit the system. The same short- QB system that Brees made work, Wilson fails. Holds the ball too long, makes wrong reads and plays with " eyes down" as soon as he feels pressure.
