The play calling was pretty atrocious. Bad O-line play did not help either. Foles had no more than three seconds to throw all night.

What do you do all week, Nagy, for there not to be a game plan? Terrible.

You mean when they play shitty defenses, right? Quality defenses like the colts and rams ate their lunch.

Hub and Mannelly (where are Hamp & OB after games?) were saying Nagy needs to give up playcalling duties cuz nothings working. They also said that Foles told Brian Griese this week that he doesn't like the playcalls that Nagy is making. Ruh oh.

Anyone still willing to argue that Foles is a better player than (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky in 2020? At least (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky knows not to constantly throw it to double covered players and hope that it somehow bounces his way. The game flipped on that terrible decision to throw it into the end zone with a 0% chance of success unless the two defenders knocked each other down.

If Foles is struggling I don't understand why you don't give (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky a shot. The Bears are still a very likely playoff team. Let's put the better quarterback out there.

long week at that

Honestly, I think the Bears are better off with short weeks of preparation with him.

They need someone at practice whose job it is to blow the whistle for a sack after 3 seconds on every pass play they attempt at practice. Then Nagy can see most of his plays do not have the time needed to develop.

I think it's an interesting theory that Nagy's plays take too long to develop. It could explain why by far the best offense we've had under Nagy was when (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was given much more freedom to run the ball. A mobile quarterback like that is going to slow down the pass rush. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky wasn't accurate enough to really take advantage of it but Foles isn't either.

3 years of Rams games to assess now.

3 QB's all had the same issues.

It's on Nagy then, just like Foles told Griese and then tried to walk back later.

It was jet lag. They will beat the shit out of the Aints @ home next week. Nothing to worry about.

That's the spirit.

I'll give you that the Saints at home is not anymore difficult than the Rams on the road so if you felt confident going into the Ram game the same should be true of this week

The Aints barely just got by the Panthers on Sunday.

Current
1. Green Bay
2. Seattle
3. Tampa Bay
4. Eagles
5. Bears
6. Arizona
7. LA Rams

If the Bears lose to the Saints and the other currently seeded teams win, they would be out (for now):

1. Green Bay
2. Seattle
3. Tampa Bay
4. Philadelphia
5. Arizona
6. LA Rams
7. New Orleans

I'm not disputing your point. This is a very similar game this week on paper.

The clocking is ticking. Better win it all this year or get on board with a rebuild.

Both (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and Foles would be helped by a defense preparing for the other as the qb. In the sense they are equally shitty but in different ways.

Mitches legs would have been an asset last night in buying some time and slowing the rush a bit.

We all know the offensive line stinks. Wouldn't it make sense to sign a power RB who can get some cheap yards running over players? Paging Ryan Pace. Paging Ryan Pace.

Is this the most panic level ever for a 5-2 team? I am not saying it is undeserved. I am seriously wondering.

It's not that the defense is really good and the offense is bad. it's that the defense is really good and the offense might be the worst in the entire league. it's either the bears or jets for worst offense of the year.

the problem with that is the eagles have multiple injuries at skill positions on offense. the bears are basically completely healthy at skill positions and still suck.
