Has nothing to do with nothing, the organization doesn’t want him to start.

As of now the organization still has him starting though. Which is what's lost in all of the Euphoria. I keep hearing that he is "clearly" a backup, yet Pittsburgh has yet to make him the backup. If it's as clearcut as you keep insinuating, then why hasn't Tomlin made the call already?

Now we're going off the words of players and not coaches? He might be just trying to say the right things. Who knows? The remains that if he so decidedly the backup, then why hasn't Tomlin just simply named him the backup and moved on?

Fields literally said he did not play good enough to start but somehow you still continue to argue he is good enough to start

No, we are going by the words of the players, coaches and the games played. Clearly if Justin had played at the level Tomlin expected then there would be no debate about who is starting sunday. PERIOD, end of discussion.

I don’t understand why you respond with responses that don’t make sense, we will determine this as the season goes on.

Yeah we will. And Fields is the starter (Phantom Frank eager to play gotcha on this one) until he isn't. There is a lot victory lapping for a decision that has yet to be made by all accounts.

An injured old man or a QB who can't run the offense they want to run.
Tough call for Tomlin.

I am just glad you admitted to responses that don’t make sense, we are making considerable progress.

One final question, do you still believe that Fields is better than Love as a quarterback?

Love is about as average as you can be. He is the baseline quarterback. The guy who is 0.0 Wins above replacement.

Fields is negative wins above replacement.

Quote:
Tomlin named Wilson the starter following a so-called camp competition with Justin Fields. However, when Wilson re-injured his calf in the days leading up to the opener, Pittsburgh pivoted to Fields.

It should be noted that former Football All Pro Keyshawn Johnson says that there is no doubt that FIELDS is starting Sunday while CFMB's Very Own Bumper Humper Frank and some dude named Juiced says otherwise

He has only played 4 games and is tied for 2nd in touchdown passes with 12. Fully understanding you have no clue of the concept of the forward pass, I don’t blame you for not knowing how good this is. Goodnight Sir

Justin Fields very candid today: “I don’t think I played good enough if I’m being real with you. If I’m being real with myself, if I did play well enough, I don’t think there would be any sort of (question) who should be playing who should not.”

So he questions why it is a possibility that he can start but is better than the dude that got paid in Green Bay!!

Fields himself doesn’t believe it.

He also has 6 ints in 4 games which translates into more than 24 for an entire season. Also 58% completion rate but hey let me take this time to tell the world how great my guy from Green Bay is playing yet again. You sound silly
