I don’t know what Hub is saying because I’m not tuning in.. but if you can’t see the Bears O-line has been really really bad this year then you’re either blind, or you aren’t watching games. There’s no where for him or any other back to go. Even Cohen has looked rough on his touches this year.

And that’s not even getting into the fact that every defense stacks the box against the Bears

And what happened today is that the defense allowed a mediocre at best Raiders team to march 93 yards down the field and score a touchdown with just seconds left in the game. Just like the defense allowed a statue in Joe Flacco to March down the field and score in the waning seconds of a game. Both drives were aided by just an inexplicably stupid Bears special-teams penalty.

I don't think the league allows great defenses anymore.

I really haven't watched a game in 9 years.

This is great. Hasn't watched a game in years but still jumps in to share her opinions as if they are right

hahaha you think its a secret? They should've cut him and saved $3m against the cap after it was clear the guy sucked last year. It just so happens that Nagy's love affair with Daniel is also served by Pace's commitment to the doomed marriage with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

Nagy is a disaster. They have no O-line and no offensive scheme. I can't even watch them on offense, because they suck so bad.

Have to give some credit to the Raiders as well. Good game plan and they dominated on both lines. Once they saw the domination they didn't go away from it.

“The best football player in the world” got absolutely manhandled by his former team.

The entire Oline and Dline got dominated nearly all day. It was an old school ass kicking that nobody on the Bears side of the field or sideline had an answer for. It was quite worrysome to be honest.

Some credit to the Raiders, gd? Have to give them a shit ton of credit. Granted, they played a backup QB and a team with serious jetlag that couldn't run the ball for the life of them, but they still knocked the Bears right in the mouth and continued it all game. As much as it sucks to say, MANY kudos are due to the Raiders.

Yes. I don't know if you travel from west to east if that is the proper term, but early on the Bears were slow and lethargic which I think largely can be blamed on the travel.

Still though, with the way the Raiders controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, I don't think that mattered a whole hellava lot.

Worse than the loss was the fact that the NFL treated this game as The Jon Gruden Show.... did anyone else notice how the broadcast constantly cut to the camera showing Gruden?

It looks like Montgomery is turning one yard gains into three yard gains, so that's .. something

The problem is Pace in not spending money and/or drafting offensive tackles. What did Leno have in penalties and yards given up because of sacks. Had to be at least 100 bleeping yards.

If you subtract Leno this really isn't a problem. The Redskins are imploding and Trent Williams isn't going to suit up. Its time.

Yep. Getting Trent Williams would be a great addition. But they need more than just him and they really don't have any draft picks to trade with methinks.

I think that the play that cost them was the bullshit running into the kicker penalty. That guy was BLOCKED into the kicker, He was knocked to the ground by the blocker. Without that penalty, the Raiders have to punt the ball and the Bears could have run out the clock. The Raiders got LUCKY on that last drive between that call and the elbow on the ground before the fumble came.

I am not saying that the Bears weren't outplayed because they were but that game turned on that bad call on the punt.

I am not sure about Montgomery being a difference maker because he doesn't seem able to recognize the blocking and be able to cut back. Its hard to tell though because the offensive line can't open any holes for the RBs.

And that asshole Sherwith was as biased an announcer as I have heard ever on an NFL broadcast. He was impossible to listen to and not want to throw something. He reminds me of a guy who used to be the Angels announcer, psycho Steve Lyons who I think is doing Royals games now. Now I know that home town announcers frequently are biased. Hell Hawk was a big time homer. But football guys aren't supposed to be like this asshole.

Ol' Hawkeroo conveniently overlooks the horseshit roughing the passer call on OAK that negated a turnover.
