This was an awesome pick, and the precise dude I was zoning in on after Hernandez and Braden Smith were selected. Arguably the best center in the draft aside from Billy Price according to my Pro Football Weekly draft guide.

Is he the kind of guy who can hit a guy in the head with a weight and then the guy he hit apologizes to him for making him do it?

I mentioned awhile ago I thought they would trade down from 8 and get this guy. We got him second round nice.

The unnecessary trade up of last year rears it's ugly head.

the WR are still there and its time to start thinking about jumping and getting one. Anthony Miller would be really nice about now.

Seeing all the trades that are happening, Bears must have really wanted him.

Yo FarveFan -you guys have landed 2 of the best CB's in this draft. Jackson is a damn good player.

I have no idea. It’s not like a Purdue guy you can always count on. But this guy with Long right and Whitehair left let’s roll.

Nope. With this league moving more and more towards being a pass friendly league -having 3 CB's on the field is becoming much more common.

Imagine if they got compensation for Meredith and had the flexibility with burn a couple picks to move back into the second and grab one of these WR.

I hope you’re right. I heard the same thing about Kevin King last year, instantly makes the secondary better!, and it was wrong.

I would like to believe that you could get a late #1 for him. You also create a huge void.

I like Jackson more than Alexander, but they're both pretty good.

I wouldn't like it. But if it turned out we got a WR that wound up being good.. it might be the better move

I'm a little nervous to see what they gave up. They don't have picks to spare.

Bears traded a 2019 second-round pick and a fourth-round pick this year for New England’s second-round pick this year, the 51st overall selection.
