Yeah, I just assume everyone who either works or worked in the market has used cocain at least recreationally. There was some neighborhood father I was talking to the other day who now trades from home. He used to trade on the floors. He gave me a pretty strong indication that he dealt while he was down there. I don't know why he would have felt free to give me that information as I rarely even drink...and he is the type of guy who always has sniffles, even in the summer

Ex-Bears WR Hurd faces two more drug charges
Former Chicago Bears wide receiver Sam Hurd faces two new federal drug charges, accusations coming in a superceding indictment filed Tuesday -- the same day a plea deal with the government fell apart.

Hurd faces two counts of commission of a felony offense while on release, charges stemming from when he was taken into custody last month for violating conditions of his supervised release. According to the indictment, while out on bond and living in San Antonio, Hurd attempted on June 6 to possess with intent to distribute between 50 kilograms and 100 kilograms of marijuana and at least 5 kilograms of cocaine.

Also on June 6, Hurd’s cousin and co-defendant, Jesse Tyrone,Chavful, was arrested for buying drugs at his T-shirt printing shop in San Antonio. Records show he later told prosectuors the drugs were for Hurd -- an allegation corroborated by three telephone calls Chavful made to a phone number registered to Hurd's sister and in his phone as "Big Sam," according to records and testimony from a federal agent.

The indictment came Tuesday, the same day paperwork was filed in which Hurd pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge, only to have his lawyer tell the Tribune the government had filed the documents "prematurely" with inaccurate information. The lawyer said language in a document in which Hurd acknowledges certain allegations had not been agreed upon....
