If they can let him bumble his way through this stage of his development and win games its OK. Obviously his development no sure thing but its also no sure thing that he's a failure, which is something Bears fans need to keep in mind.

This game was the first time I have felt that he is not the QB on the roster that gives the Bears the best chance to win now. If the Bears finish +3 in turnovers every game they'll go 10-6 and we'll all be happy, but they are requiring an absolute herculean effort out of the defense week-in-week-out to do that. Putting in Daniel gives the Bears much more margin for error.

Ultimately this is a moot point. Playing (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is a condition of Matt Nagy's employment.

He’s pretty awful.

Mitch blows and this team is still gonna win 11 games. The more things change the more they stay the same in the NFL.

He has a tendency to overthrow, and has tunnel vision. Then it really fucked when his windup takes ten seconds and everyone on the field knows exactly where's it's going before he actually releases. His main problem is it takes him too long to let go of the ball.

It will get worse before it gets better but I do believe it will get better. This is a hill Mitch has to climb, he has to get over whatever lack of confidence and inner turmoil is plaguing him in these games. If he can just get through this he will come out a better player.

yes, a QB who cannot throw is probably not going to look very good.

The Word According to Hub was Nagy told him it took Alex Smith half a season to get competent in the offense and 2 years to master it. And Alex Smith was a 7-year veteran at the time.
