Seemed preferable to a tweet from “Kevlar Guru” saying the same thing.

I mean at some point that tweet will probably be accurate, parody or not.

For the Barstool fans out there, Jersey Jerry has confirmed.

For the ethnics, somebody in my timeline calling himself Slav Costas is also confirming.

More to come…

Rumor is that they'll announce it after the draft

All the people who didn't attend because of the difficulty of getting to Soldier Field now won't attend because of price.

30 minutes from Jefferson Park to Arlington Heights on Metra. Easy for me but I'll probably never tailgate again once it opens. Maybe Gale Street Inn will have pre games

Not really seeing anything about this anywhere but hopefully there's still a chance for us concerned citizens to keep these losers out.

That’s because it’s just that contingent of Bears fandom who is very weird, very bored and loves to try and will their fantasies into existence on social media. These are the people who go on a six month cycle that reaches peak hype in June/July and peak despair in December/January every year.

They love every quarterback, believe in every coach…until they day that they don’t. Generally they advocate for drafting wide receivers & runningbacks early in the draft and ignoring offensive line, until the season rolls around and then they complain about the bad offensive line. But by March they are all in on someone like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Bijan Robinson, Ashton Jeanty etc. and defense/OL is rendered an afterthought.

And brother, the Bears traditionally have generally aligned with and pandered to this segment of their fan base since about the beginning of the Ryan Poles era, if not earlier.

Cars parked on lawns down Euclid Avenue. Welcome to Hooterville!

I just assumed everyone in Arlington Heights parks on their lawn.

I live less than a mile. If this does come to pass it will be interesting to see how the village regulates lawn parking.

I don't think parking is going to be a problem on that large plot of land they have.

There is plenty of acreage for parking, but there is no guarantee the Bears will actually build adequate parking facilities on the property.

Look pal, you can have a parking lot or a strip mall with a SportClips. Can’t be both.

No, it's actually not, and Grant Park is not a "concrete jungle." And what, pray tell, would you call a giant dome in the middle of 300 acres of surface parking?

Both are going to get Curious Hair all fired up here....be gentle.
I can relate, as I wouldn't want an NFL stadium in my downtown.

I wish I was skilled enough to be able to properly superimpose this over a shot of the Arlington Heights site.

Seriously, I like Arrowhead fine enough to the extent that "durrrr me like crowd make loud sound" or whatever, but I would never in a million years want an asphalt monstrosity like the Royals/Chiefs Sports Zone anywhere near here. It's bad infrastructure, it's a waste of resources, but most of all, it's spiritually hideous. We should be better than this.
