My argument hasn't changed. Bears fans want to see Cutler fail. I've been pointing this out all season. Trestman has been awful most of the season. I started pointing this out during the Panthers game. Cutler is going to break nearly every Bears single season record and he's having a career year. I've been pointing this out for a while. Try to focus Champ.
I don't want Cutler to fail. I want him and the Bears to succeed. Unfortunately, he has not done that.

Your focus should be on how poorly Cutler has played and the team's record. I could give a shit about the Bears all time record books. So he'll have a better season than Sid Luckman or Erik Kramer. BFD. He leads the league in turnovers and has been a big part of this team's 3-6 record. Wake me up when he does something along the lines of Manning, Rodgers, or Brady. Start chirping when he gets to a Super Bowl. Until then, you should probably just quiet down.

What I posted was completely accurate. I was high on Lance Louis. He was the TE that was turned into a guard and eventually made a tackle IIRC. He proved me right before getting injured. I liked Gooden but I called him a borderline all star if given enough minutes.

As I said I will put my predictions up against anyone here. I don't make predictions like "The Broncos will beat the Raiders" and then beat my chest about it. I'm usually a few steps ahead of the class. If we stick to exclusively football I've won our board pick'em league for at least the past 3 seasons (not doing so well the last 4 weeks) and I've correctly picked 5 of the past 6 Super Bowl winners (nailed the exact score 1 year) and a couple years ago I correctly picked every playoff game. You may want to take a closer look at my posts outside of my obvious Bears bias.

Not with this whole Cutler deal. You are 5 or 6 laps behind the rest of us. Even I've almost caught up to the field.

Be patient my friend. Public opinion doesn't sway me. My orange and blue kool-aid can cloud my judgement but I still believe Cutler can lead us to the promise land.

Dr. Ken has so much money a tsunami can't move it.

Someone make a Dr. Ken/Chuck Norris parody thread.

His predictions/analysis have the same earmarks of success as the maiden voyage of the Titanic.

...Now let's all brace ourselves for his insane reply which will undoubtedly reference a somewhat accurate prognostication he made about the Bears in 2006. For the record, that may have been the last time he was even remotely correct about anything pertaining to sports.

I never said that about Webb or Chris Williams. I never said that about Drew Gooden. I never said that about Piniella and my Prior signature was more of a joke. Everyone knows I hate Prior. I'll put my record of predictions up against anyone's.

To be fair I think the Drew Gooden prediction was mine

Well, at least you seem to recognize that your Bears analyses are absurd. Progress comes slowly!

Glad to hear you are not as tragically inept at analyzing the rest of the NFL as you are the Bears.

Even the garbage time production sucks. At 42-0 I would expect at least 24 points or something after the half from a supposed high powered offense, but even then nothing happened.

Yeah nas this is Jay's career year, meaning the end of his career as a viable long term starting QB. Screw Cutler and the horse that rode in on him.

That's fine. A lot of people feel the same way. Whether people like it or not most of the numbers Cutler is putting up this season will sit atop the Bears record book for single season stats by a QB.

Nas you're the greatest living rapper but if your best argument is Cutler is better than Grossman, Burris, McMahon, and Quinn then you should pull a Cutler and just give up.

The thing is he is ranked in the top 10 of nearly every QB stat this year too.

I would take a healthy Jim McMahon in his prime over Jay Cutler everyday of the week and 107 times on Sunday.

So is Drew Brees, but Brees has played a massive role in several losses this year with his untimely ints & fumbles.

That he: 1) has played a role in several wins, and 2) has a ring mitigates this somewhat. But as you may have noticed, Zack & I both have been complaining about dumb throws, fumbles & his weakening arm now for two seasons.

Which is why McMahon could be lounging & explaining to his agent about how he wouldn't roll off his couch for first $5K, then $10K to spend an hour at some kid's Bar Mitzvah.

$20K for two hours did the trick back the late 80's though, or so I've been told.

Including INTs and fumbles. But, you know, not the most important stat-- wins.

Not really.

He's in a few of them, and he is slowly falling down those lists too.

It looks like it is 10th in total yards.
7th in completion percentage.
7th in touchdowns tied with two others.

It wouldn't be surprising if he drops out of touchdowns and total yards soon.

I will say this. Cutler without question is the best in the league at throwing TD passes thrown while being down 30+ points.

He is apparently the best QB in the league at taking his kids to the doctor.

He's the 2nd best QB in America with the sugar diabeetus behind Wilford Brimley.

He's the best in league at just throwing the ball on the ground in an ill advised shovel pass when no one was within 15 yards of him
