For one he had a much higher completion % than the "Generational One".

Coupled with Muvh higher Yards per Attempt and Yards per completion too.

Threw for nearly as Many Yards on less than half the attempts.

Generated more than twice as MANY points offensively despite entering the game during the middle of the 2nd Quarter.

The one major stat in Caleb's favor is the TD but that TD was created by DJ Moore's running after the catch. Not because of the pass from Caleb. Which should be noted was caught behind the line of scrimmage.

If that's the case why is Caleb's QBR nearly double that of Malik? QBR says Caleb Williams outperformed Malik Willis by a pretty wide margin, why are you dismissing it now?

When I provide the basis for Caleb and his suckage, I do not just simply cite QBR Hartgrove.

And again in true Heiny Bird like fashion, you'll be back tomorrow contesting the "legitimacy" of the QBR statistic. After being all in favor of it today.

No you can't.

Caleb's last two drives made him better.

And remember, I watch the rookie QBs so Bear fans don't have to, and Michael Penix is not better than Caleb. He throws like a pitcher. Two rookies, at this stage, are significantly better and one is slightly better.

Drake Maye is better right now and will be going forward. So is Daniels and so is Nix. All 3 will be better pros going forward.

Caleb as usual, was not particularly impressive. 70 Yards on 25 pass attempts at one point in late 3rd early 4th.

His lone TD pass was based on the oft maligned DJ Moore breaking loose on a screen pass for 35 yards.

Their defense and special teams spotted him a 14 point lead early in the game.

Less than 150 yards on 29 pass attempts is also rather putrid to say the least

That Willis fumble was a thing of beauty. Reminded me of J.Fields in his prime of fumbling the ball away.

Williams simply tries to find an open receiver on his sacks and doesn't turn it over very often. BORING!

This is a blatant lie.

Here you are citing only QBR:

The Doctor Of Style wrote:
Now who's making "excuses" . Most true Bears fans don't believe that the defense is the problem
Caleb is currently 28th in QBR. He's currently ranked behind a guy that was already cut whom everyone here thinks is terrible.

Here you are citing QBR and two other categories that Caleb actually beat Willis in:

The Doctor Of Style wrote:
TD Totals, QBR, and TD% as a passer for starters. Which as bad you claim Fields is as a passer should absolutely never be the case should it? Just Asking A Question

And here you are citing QBR, and only QBR, again:

The Doctor Of Style wrote:
I'd much rather have another thread where it's "anyone but Caleb" to blame for the Bears shitty season.
Oline
Waldron
Eberflus
Poles
DJ Moore
Keenan Allen
Bears Defense
Field Goal Kicker

All while providing the guy who 28th or 29th in QBR last I checked a pass. The same guy who was transformed from "NFL Ready" to "Developmental Rookie" seemingly in a matter of seconds.
And no matter what anyone around here says, this has been essentially a lost season. Coming off a season in which they almost made the playoffs. A huge disappointment

And for good measure, and because I know you're an autistic weasel if nothing else, here you are quoting Caleb's QBR for a single game:

The Doctor Of Style wrote:
Caleb's QBR for yesterday's game was a rather robust 13.6.

So yes, you have relied solely on QBR as a means to bash Caleb Williams, but now when QBR is in contradiction with your assertion that Malik Willis, in a loss, "outplayed" Caleb Williams, you pretend it's merely one of MANY stats you use.

Just admit that your hatred of Caleb Williams for taking Justin Fields away from you rattled your cage a little too much and you said something verifiably false about yesterday's game. Not even Nardi is going to come in on a white stallion to rescue you from this one. Take the L

You're the one that insists on using QBR all the time because it's such a granular, encompassing stat, and totally not because you cherry pick it when it portrays Caleb Williams as "bad" sooo....

Caleb Williams QBR yesterday: 60.8

Malik Willis QBR yesterday: 34.1

...no, he was not outplayed by the GB backup. Even the eye test agrees.

I guess whenever you cannot "fixate" on QBR it becomes a "deeply flawed" statistic once again huh Hartgrove ?

Only Daniels will be better barring injury. Nix and Maye may be equal to Williams. Nix should be way ahead given his age. He's less than a year younger than Fields.

Holy Hypocrisy Batman! He'd have blamed the Bears O-Line or coaches had a similar thing occurred with Generational Caleb

LTG, did Malik Willis outperform Caleb Williams, despite any difference in their respective QBRs for the game?

Contrary to the near-100% difference in their QBRs from yesterday, did Malik Willis outperform Caleb Williams? It's a fairly simple question.

What does shaking people down at the Millennium Park Docks have to do with whether Malik Willis outperformed Caleb Williams yesterday despite Caleb's superior QBR, Radio? Does QBR not matter when evaluating QB performance like you said it did?

Apparently it has something to do with a 4% difference in completion percentage?

The Packers outscored the Bears 22-10 while their backup QB was in the game, but "shhhh" you just better not say that he outplayed the Bears starting QB.

Is it any wonder why the Hawgs, FavreFan, Zippys of the world push you dude's wigs in year after year with what they bring to the table about this?

When guy's like Juiced ascends to the leading voice on Bears football you know you're fucking screwed.

Hey stupid. You already admitted that you don't believe in QBR as an accurate metric. So you might want to use something else. The stalking routine and Derangement about what I have previously said doesn't change this.

I only watched the national games this year (and not even Thanksgiving Day as I was invited to a friend's home for lunch), so I will stipulate that I don't have an opinion directly on Williams. But I will point out that after a year and a quarter of looking like Akili Smith and media discussions about whether they could trade him at the deadline for a 3rd round pick, Bryce Young came back from his benching and played well in his last five games.

So now each of you can choose to passionately explain why Williams does or doesn't deserve a second year before being declared a bust at the level of which Bryce Young was considered one at the end of his first year.

So I'm right that QBR is a flawed metric by which to judge and compare QB performance, and your previous uses of it to bash Caleb have been erroneous?

It's either accurate and Caleb has sucked but was better than Malik Willis, or it is flawed and we should judge QB performance on other things. You can't have both.

Hey stupid. You claimed that Caleb played better based upon a metric which you have previously stated to not believe in. Either you are stupid. deranged, or mentally ill.

Either QBR is accurate or it's not. You've bashed Caleb based solely on QBR numerous times. It's time to decide whether judging a QB based on it is or is not erroneous. If it is accurate then Williams outperformed Willis by a wide margin. You decide.

You decide.

Hey stupid..You are basing your assessment of Caleb's performance on a metric tool which you previously claimed you did not support Either you are stupid, deranged, or mentally ill.

Why was Caleb's QBR so much higher than that of Malik Willis yesterday, if QBR is so accurate?

Why are you hypocritically arguing in favor of QBR all of a sudden?

I'm fine with QBR being an inaccurate measure of QB performance. You're the one who has argued numerous times that Caleb Williams is bad based solely on QBR. But now you're arguing that Malik Willis outperformed Caleb Williams yesterday despite Caleb posting a much better QBR. I'm asking why you changed your tune so suddenly on QBR being an accurate summation of a QB's production?

No Greater Lie Has Ever Been Told. You've just spent 5 hrs arguing to the contrary Hartgrove.

More Derangement Speaking.
If it were merely about QBR then he'd get a pass from me regarding the fact that he sucks
