They should probably see if they can get a late 1st or 2nd rounder for Jaylon Johnson since he will be useless in a Tampa 2 defense.

I think Dorsey or Kafka make a lot of sense. Kafka as a St. Rita/NU guy would jump at the chance. That sportswriter from KC gives him all the credit for Mahomes development. I wonder if they could design a position that is both a promotion but not an OC for him to get him from KC.

Kafka's job when he was hired by Chiefs was basically to be Mahomes personal coach as he was the quality control guy. They had Alex smith and needed someone to focus on the rookie who wasn't going to be playing.

I'm not in love with zone defense, either.

I think we can expect a d like the one we had with Lovie, infuriating in the amount of yards it gives up but great in allowing only field goals and excellent in getting turnovers. Defensive lineman will get no help with blitzes, so they better win their battles on their own. CB don't need to be great, just sure tacklers. This should be a good defense for Jackson.

I guess we'll get to see what Leftwich does with Sunshine down in Jacksonville.

Hiring another KC guy might be a Kafkaesque experience.

He was intriguing, but I wouldn't have taken the chance even though he had "success" with Brady and Winston.

No need for CB's in a Tampa 2 defense.

For a guy who talks a lot of football, you have almost no understanding of how it is played.

Tampa 2 requires CB that can tackle, but they are never needed in man coverage. Jaylon Johnson specializes in man coverage. His strengths will be lost in a Tampa 2 defense. Let's find a non-vax restaurant and I can explain football to you.

Yes, when they weren't in their base defense.

Do we have any data about how often Eberflus ran his base defense?

Everything I've heard indicates that he is not a rigid Cover 2 guy. He shaped his scheme around his players.

who? Sounds like someone the Lions would hire and has to sit thru 3 years of one or two win seasons then eventually gets fired.

Guess Harbaugh didnt want to come here. He'll probably go to Vegas if they decide to get rid of their coach.

Yes they are Bob. Even more so with Eberflus.

Is Oak Brook a good halfway point for a non vax restaurant meeting?

Tufano's in the city is always good too.

I'm thinking Taco Grill & Salsa Bar in Westmont.

Johnson is excellent at tackling and a bigger CB.

He isn't good at creating TO.

My guys are Ken Dorsey for OC and Kafka for QB coach.

I have no idea at DC. I'm sure there will be some guys from the Colts who get elevated.

I think it's finally almost Detroit's turn. A new QB and that team can be good for the next 5 years.

Looks like he's willing to experiment if he has the right personnel. This is it's nice to have a guy who isn't married to a certain philosophy.

Yep. A 13 loss team is definitely just a quarterback away from making the playoffs.

The Lions are stuck with Goff another year(cap reasons) and there is no QB's in this draft. They aren't doing shit for a while. The Bears could have made some noise here if they sacked up and got Harbaugh.

Campbell seems like the type of guy who thinks the solution to everything is to do the same thing, but harder.
