It had nearly a zero chance of being successful. The call on the field level first of all was right. That was obvious in real time. It would have taken overwhelming evidence to overturn, and that evidence wasn't there. Plus you thought it was just about the receiver getting his feet down which isn't how the NFL works. So you're very wrong, flus was wrong, and it was a stupid challenge.

We went from "its a good challenge" (for faulty reasoning of the receiver had his feet down before contact), to "it was a good challenge because the bears defense is bad" (even though you've placed every loss square on Caleb) (and even though a timeout would have given the defense a blow) to "it wouldn't have affected the game" (even though they lose a challenge on a poor decision that takes away what could be a better challenge later) to "eberflus was told to challenge by someone else (even though he's the guy who has to pull the trigger and the decision is his alone).

You specifically quoted the wrong rule when the challenge was made. You said he got 2 feet down, which is true but that applies to sideline plays. . This was explained on TV. He needed a third step which didn’t happen. Which the replay clearly showed didn’t happen.

Williams is playing more and more like Fields with all these scrambles for first downs. He didn't seem to run as often in the first few weeks of the season. I mean, I guess it's sort of working in terms of keeping drives alive, but I thought he was here to throw.
