If Caleb Williams has "evolved" the way that MANY believe that he has, then he cannot start tacking on "da points" when the game is completely out of reach. That's getting rather old.

I just don’t understand how other teams in the league get their receivers so wide-open except the Bears .

I guess in the sense that the defense was so gassed that they needed a timeout, so maybe a timeout with a 25% chance of better field position? All I got

It's so convenient that the Detroit running backs called themselves Sonic and Knuckles just in time for a new Sonic movie.

Because if it were successful then the Bears would have had it at the Detroit 30. The Bears defense is struggling to get stops and needs to change momentum. And if you think that Eberflus is the only person who makes the determination to challenge the call then you really are dumb as dogshit

Seems like a timeout and keeping the challenge on a play that had no chance of getting overturned might have been a better call. Flush continues to make really stupid football decisions.

Man the outcome of this game really is going to be determined by that "unsuccessful challenge". Said absolutely no one

It had nearly a zero chance of being successful. The call on the field level first of all was right. That was obvious in real time. It would have taken overwhelming evidence to overturn, and that evidence wasn't there. Plus you thought it was just about the receiver getting his feet down which isn't how the NFL works. So you're very wrong, flus was wrong, and it was a stupid challenge.

We had A few days to try and come up with some way of getting more pressure, I guess they couldn’t find anything.

The Patriots used to have a guy who specific job during the game was to tell Belichick when to challenge. The Chicago Chicago Bears have no such person.

We went from "its a good challenge" (for faulty reasoning of the receiver had his feet down before contact), to "it was a good challenge because the bears defense is bad" (even though you've placed every loss square on Caleb) (and even though a timeout would have given the defense a blow) to "it wouldn't have affected the game" (even though they lose a challenge on a poor decision that takes away what could be a better challenge later) to "eberflus was told to challenge by someone else (even though he's the guy who has to pull the trigger and the decision is his alone).

How else will you refrain a bad post? Oh yeah how about "you're on my bumper! Waaaaa"

Hahahahahhaha fuckin loser

You specifically quoted the wrong rule when the challenge was made. You said he got 2 feet down, which is true but that applies to sideline plays. . This was explained on TV. He needed a third step which didn’t happen. Which the replay clearly showed didn’t happen.

You’re never wrong even when you’re blatantly wrong.

The Bears do not have an "above average defense" at this point, but they're oddly good in the red zone. Not sure what good keeping eight points off the board will do for them at this point, but it's something.

Williams is playing more and more like Fields with all these scrambles for first downs. He didn't seem to run as often in the first few weeks of the season. I mean, I guess it's sort of working in terms of keeping drives alive, but I thought he was here to throw.

If you consider that the Bears should be down 35-0 at the half, this is kind of a moral victory for them.

Bears get it coming out of halftime. Gotta to get a touchdown to stay in it.
