I'm trying to be objective here, so BEAR with me. Sutton was a good pick, and Fuller was either a great or below average pick. If he doesn't end up being a very good corner it was a below average pick. I think he will be that though and be a good pick. I like Sutton, seems like a very good pick. Ego was a fucking terrible pick and will never have a good moment in the NFL.
I think Fuller was every NFL person's second best corner in this draft from about a month ago on despite the internet world still focusing on Dennard. You could just see the activity coupled with complete silence about the guy. I still think Gilbert is the man at CB in this draft but the Bears are going to be very happy with Fuller for a long time, kind of like Donnell Woolford.
I'm not sure about Ferguson. Run stopping DT really don't strike me as good second round picks. Still, I had seen him in that group of 2-3 round DT all along.
Sutton is Donald if you get the 290 pound guy from his junior year. He absolutely tore things up. I think if you looked at post 2013 Draft future draft projections, you would see him in first round. The added weight was ill advised. It's great that he lost it. However, even after he lost it after the season, his workouts were not all that spectacular. Definitely a good pick. I thought they were targeting Caraun Reid out of Princeton as their 3T if Donald was gone but this guy is to Reid what Sutton is to Donald...same player but better by degrees.
