So in just 3 games we can make this conclusion?

 This is the crux of the entire matter. We are 3 GAMES IN. This is a ridiculous thread to begin with.

 He's getting plaudits for having his best season as a Bear for not even being as good of a game manager than McCown was.

Cutler isn't being a game manager. He has been responsible for about 90% of the total offense this season. I'm not sure if McCown threw 8 touchdowns all season and everyone on the offense was healthy.

Yes. Those 3 games are in the books. He's clearly been the best player on offense and this is his best start to a season.

After 1 game many of you were saying that the season was over.

The Bears have 900 yards of total offense for the year. Jay Cutler has been responsible for 789 yards.

I'm sorry I don't think Cutler is playing at an MVP level. That means I hate him.

But your the same guy who wrote about Cutler going over to Fuller after Bennett slammed him to the ground and how that was the wrong thing to do. Tried to make a big deal out of nothing. So, who you crappin?

Even though I truly do hate Brandon Marshall, I think Marshall has been their best player this year.

Marshall has a total of 125 yards for the season. Matt Forte has more receiving yards and receptions. He almost has a higher ypc too.

It's hard to take you seriously when you post things like this.

He's been responsible for 88% of their total yards on offense and he has a 4 to 1 td/int ratio. No other QB in the league has been responsible for nearly 90% of their total offense.

They've played some great run defenses and our offensive line isn't good at it. It'll get better.

So you admit that Cutler ' s percentage of offense is a silly, inflated stat.

No. I expect it to go down but I was just pointing out how important he has been in the first 3 games. People laughed when I said he's put the offense on his back but these numbers show that my statement was accurate. Forte only has about 80 more rushing yards. He's done it all.

Cutler has been the best QB in the NFC North. Everyone should be able to agree on that.

Wait a minute. We are judging people based on total yards now?

Looks like Cutler just dropped out of the MVP race!

In fact, here is my argument.

Quote:
He's really carrying this offense on his back. Forte hasn't been effective since the first game and he has played at about 30-70% and missing 3 other starters. Despite all of this he has played at a high level and has been primarily responsible for our success. We have been waiting for years for him to play at this level. I believe 4 touchdowns and ONLY 1 fumble puts him in the MVP conversation. He's on pace to catch 21 touchdowns and 5 fumbles. I wonder how great this offense and team would be if he were healthy.

Rick even you have to realize how silly it was to say Marshall has been the Bears best player.
