Do you see the Bears making a splash right at midnight like they did with Muhsin? I don't.

I don't see them sigining any starting caliber players. I think they will use free agency to possibly sign another backup safety, but not really much more than that.

They should be, and I suspect they are going to, looking to lock up as many of their own free agents as possible with players like Tillman, Berrian, Grossman (they should wait on him), Harris and Vasher all coming up in the near future.

I would like to see a push for Eric Steinbach, or maybe Daniel Graham.

Steinbach is going to cost them way too much $$$$. He's going to get a big deal in free agency.

I think the Bears will resign Reuben Brown, and then maybe add an interior lineman in the draft (middle rounds) to compete with Terrance Metcalf for a future starting job as Brown probably will only sign a 1 year deal.

With their terrible history of drafting O linemen, they should look at any free agents available very closely.

Agree on the O Lineman and Daniel Graham

But looks like D Graham World Tour does not include a stop in Chicago.

We are stuck with D Clark

We will sign somebody of name recognition, but it just won't be until things settle down, and the teams spending the money are done. Again, we are not looking to bring any difference makers in, just looking to solidify the depth, particularly in the secondary. Of course, I wouldn't mind adding a Dline or Oline player as well - if the price is right.

This off-season is about locking up our core players (at least two) amongst Tillman, Vasher, Berrian, Grossman, Harris and Briggs (not sure he's considered part of the core given the $$$$ he's asking for).
